What do you spend your money on in game?

Rent
Repairs
Cooldowns.

first two should be obvious
and the later you only get one a day for some dumb reason so no real choice but to use them. even if you dont craft.

otherwise id love to play the “market” game but as i dont play during prime time i cannot make it work.

at this moment I exceed 320k I intend to reach 500k (the maximum) before the expansion once I reach that level I will spend 50k per week to raise the manufacturing skills and replenish those 50k (which is more or less what I get for week) and so on until you reach the maximum of skills, reputation in the cities or whatever. currently I usually spend 1 or 2k in materials for the missions of the cities, and thus go up quickly

Gear from TP, even though I have 200 in all crafts cheaper to buy. Rent. Refining

Nothing because other than a couple log ins with quick log outs, I haven’t played the game in weeks.

When I was playing, other than taxes and repairs, I didn’t spend my gold on anything either. I am a tight wad. I did spend on some regents when raising craft because I needed far more than I could get for myself.

Crafting for potions! (and repairs, of course)

Right now leveling crafting on a new character. It’s a long slog, but I’m hoping to eventually max most of the crafting.

My gear is not the best, so I’ll be upgrading my gear as well. Not in any hurry.

Most crafting, lately furnishing my houses since not much else to do.

Trying to get my territory standing in Windsward to 300 (currently 201), so lots of hyssop, azoth water and stems/motes.

It appears the WW/EF companies are planning to move so I’ve seen certain items rise a lot in price. One of these items I take advantage of and log in every night to buy out the crafting resources of.

I make about 10-50k profit a night not including what I get with 20-50 aptitude chests.

I’m sure this cash cow will dry up very soon.

Infinite gamble (gear/jewelery) ,every night i craft for over 300-400k (basically untill materials are still tp) thats how i enjoy playing this game and thats how i sometimes waste a lot of gold.

I wanted to enjoy the game that way, too. As someone mentioned earlier, though, it is absolutely crazy to me how relatively cheap people sell near-BIS items for on the TP. From a math standpoint, you almost always do better just buying gear rather than crafting it. I haven’t checked asmo, etc in about a week but last time I did the prices were coming way down. Maybe it’s more worthwhile to craft stuff now. I hope so.

I buy timeless shards, weapons, armor, jewelry, motes, gemstones, arcana ingredients, scarhide, smolderhide.

I am geared out pretty well but I still need armor with resilient and GA/WH perks for PvP. The issue I run into is that I mostly do PvP and dont make a lot of gold. I sometimes see a pair of gloves on the TP for 50k but I cant afford them.

Potions. That’s about it

annnnnnnd im broke.

just rolled 4 amulets 5 light pants and 5 boots.

all my armor pieces came with refreshing ward (frickin i wanted anything but that one as a dps but whatever it functions and my only legendary drops were Luck… frick)

all 4 of my amulets using brilliant animus rolled refreshing and luck…

all of them

WHY.

Because the crafting system is garbage. Just another time sink/gold sink that gives no carrot. Nothing in this game is rewarding. Its a big problem that the developers archaic game design philosophy refuses to acknowledge. But hey they reduced crafting xp by 10% so they think they understand.

i just want to know what the chances was to roll literally 4 pieces with the same gear score 596 and rolled all 4 as luck.

Real life odds? Almost none. Weighted coded odds… probably pretty high. Game design odds of rolling what you actually want to roll… almost none.

maybe? its just it was all LUCK.

i think i might of been less upset if i had like 2 luck, 1 adored skinning luck, and maybe even flame ward or some other worthless perk.

then i would know im just unlucky.

but 4 luck perks (exact same jewlery 4 times in a row) just tells me this is malicious.

Obviously the reoccurring costs already mentioned, repairs, housing tax… but my coins otherwise go towards housing. It’s the only content which currently still holds a bit of interest to me, so I grind coins to buy expensive decoration/furniture. I do this with both my characters, one at cap, the other at level 40.

While waiting for the game to catch up on content, and my level 40 toon only has 1 house currently, so working towards buying 2 more.
