Mortal empowerment should be nerfed or removed. It mostly benefits ranged Players, cause they can choose the fight in Most cases.
I dont understand why people complain about musket reload Speed. With the right skills you can Shoot → Dodge → shoot → Shooter stance → Shoot 5 Times → Switch to second weapon and get some range while musket reloads → shoot again. I would say this Combo gives the highest DPS for ranges in the whole Game.
Exactly, reward skill, atm theres some skill in aiming, but hitscan really is broken. Especially for a musket lol, not like these guys are shooting an AK. And the fact that musket has no bullet dispersion is ridiculous as well.
Lol adding bullet drop to a musket isnt a nerf, its just what should be done. It shouldve never had hitscan on launch, anyone knew immediately that was gonna result in cheats being used. This game isnt an fps, so why do we have an fps weapon added to it? You know theres issues when people drop 50-60 kills with a weapon. The issue isnt the weapon tho, its a perk on a ring that only benefits low risk builds like musket and bow. And yeah idk where youre gonna find a game that isnt constantly evaluating the meta, every single competitive game has balance changes. Ags problem is they consistently make weapons busted to the point of over correction into the useless category or into the completely op category.
And yeah it almost takes a real patch instead of ptr to see because of how low our pop is. If we had the luxury of a high pop game youd have much better feedback.
this game was design base as soul like game , it all weapons and move are design close as reality as possible , this is why bow after buff abit shooting speed ppl cry like crazy, remember this game have pvp , weapon balance is very important , even have magic weapon they are not op as musket. fantasy is not the excuse for this.
Completely agree lol, if musket has hitscan why doesnt a fire staff, ig, vg, bow etc? Theyre all imbued with azoth? Magical fantasy. W.e. excuse you wanna come up with it just doesnt cut it and makes no sense to be in the game.
Yeah my bad, musket totally didnt take 1min+ to reload, it was only 2-3 seconds irl. Musket balls totally flew instantly to target at light speed hit scanning everyone and is still used as a modern day weapon. Gtfo here with that bs lol
Not really, you would have more of the same just in a larger quantity. What it tells is just how little PVP population is - but loud, or to what it has sunk, with certain attitudes.
I can understand rage around desync and other technical issues, that are ruining the experience, but heck to hypocrisy that rules here, i have a lot to say but don’t see a bloody point. You made up your mind, end of story…
Put in some thrust gems and get out of light armor? The musket does like no damage to medium and heavy armor. The tools are there, just no one uses them.
It has a burst combo but thats all it has. If you miss that combo ur doing crap damage. No other weapon has a skill ceiling as high as musket. You can make mistakes with the bow, but you cant miss with the musket. Changing the hitscan of the musket in its current state will make it utterly worthless.
Muskets dont win pvp games, healers do.
The problem with muskets is that users can just run away too easily. Nerf the rapier so you can catch them and they will be much less annoying.
the simple solution for those complaining about musket in it’s current state is to just get good… if you are constantly dying to muskets then you need to examine your game play.
Thats something they will never ever do. You can see the trend that complaining over adapting is the norm nowadays.
I complained as Musket player because of random very very good bowplayers absolutely smashing me after the bow buffs. Then I switched to medium armor when fighting BowJobs and problem solved.
The weapon is anti fun and doesnt require skill thats reason enough to remove or rework the weapon. very fun being hit for 3-4k cross map without any counterplay yuppie!!
