What do you think the musket nerf will be?

Least used and underpowered are not the same thing.

They also said Bow is the “3rd worst weapon” as if that actually means anything without context.

The devs say a lot of shit, and often fails to withstand any sort of scrutiny.

Mortal empowerment is OP. With full stacks it’s 30% damage and not 30% damage from empowerment. So you could have 50% empowerment plus 30% flat damage increase from the Perk. Am i right?

Musket has the biggest advantage of this perk, cause you can sit on a rock and leech kills till you hit like a truck.

But i would still remove hitscan, rework Zoom and remove reloading while your second is active.

honestly? making the shot a projectile and not hitscam will be enought, then only a few musketeers will be able to shine with the weapon. I just don’t think hitscam has a place in this game.

I don’t think you’re right, “mortal empowerment” should count as an empower, i haven’t tested it myself but i guess it does count as empower.

On top of that unless you won’t die it does nothing really, most melee folks don’t even use it. So why nerf the perk? i guess its easier to adress the issue if you tune down or make it harder to play with the weapon that benefits from it the most, do you agree?

I do agree that zoom makes no sense in this game, neither does hitscam. And i don’t follow the argument that says “musketeers can be 3 shooted” it goes the same for every light target they’re focusing.

Still i don’t think nerfing the damage is a good choice, just make it so they actually have to lead by removing hitscam. Bad musketeers (which honestly is close to 80% of them sitting in the rocks) would be punished but the good ones would still be effective.

Why? To make it completely useless? I have seen arguments against it and I strongly disagree with a little time I played with it.

To be frank, this is the kind of weapon that belongs in PVE world, that somehow is excelling in PvP if you know what you are doing, or it’s dragging through the mud. There is no in-between, it’s a weapon difficult to handle and removing hitscan would just make it unapproachable for most people

Lol removing hitscan wont make it useless, adapt, musket having hitscan is a horrid game design. No projectile has hitscan, this isnt an fps its an “immersive mmo” as stated by devs. Hitscan is just comical, the idea theres no bullet drop is ridiculous. Just makes cheating that much easier.

it kinda will for those who aren’t not that good and sit on rocks, which is perfectly fine. Better players should be rewarded way more than bad players.

Jeez.

What this game is and what it isn’t, is not up to an individual to decide on a global but just themselves.

Aside from self entitlement people feel when they throw 40 bucks on a game, like they invested their lifehood.

What this game really needs is separate highly competitive pvpers and give them a mode where they get fulfilled all their rants and whims, that will infinitely loop.

And give more casual folk, who are here to kill few hours and have some fun more pvepvp oriented mode…

Or just separate two mods such that scaling (gear) and wepons is more tailored towards different audiences.

Nerf rapier, Nerf hatchet, Nerf musket… See a pattern?

Don’t think they’ll remove hitscan.

hand reload musket faster than modern sniper file reload speed , and after reload straight in aim mode no delay. you call it reasonable ? Lol , for this old musket after shot + the recoil even 4 sec reload and into shot mode , 4 sec also consider fast. Or maybe you go demo a real old musket reload 2 sec or lower show us. some more this musket no clip needed

Mortal empowerment should be nerfed or removed. It mostly benefits ranged Players, cause they can choose the fight in Most cases.

I dont understand why people complain about musket reload Speed. With the right skills you can Shoot → Dodge → shoot → Shooter stance → Shoot 5 Times → Switch to second weapon and get some range while musket reloads → shoot again. I would say this Combo gives the highest DPS for ranges in the whole Game.

need diminishing damage on distance, being able to stand 300 yards away and hit lights for 5k is just stupid

Remove the zoom.

Mortal empowerment shouldn’t exist. Only creates snowballing of the dominating team in OPR.

It doesn’t make sense to give damage bonus to the guy who already landed a kill. Give the damage bonus to the guy who dies so he has more of a chance :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s a fantasy game you know, right? There are fire staffs and ice gauntlet and stuff

  • Nerf mortal empowerment
  • add recoil to the musket
  • add a smoke effect that clouds their vision after each shot (jk… unless…)
  • remove the diamond on name plates that tell the musket exactly where my body is.
  • decrease the accuracy at longer distances.

Exactly, reward skill, atm theres some skill in aiming, but hitscan really is broken. Especially for a musket lol, not like these guys are shooting an AK. And the fact that musket has no bullet dispersion is ridiculous as well.
