I agree it’s almost irrelevant (it’s cosmetic) but absolutely nothing about what you’ve said changes if the cost was just 1 of each instead of 100. 100 is way, way over the top by any form of reason. I’d say even 25 would be pushing it. 10 of each would be sensible.
Is absolutely ridiculous. There’s expensive and there’s just outright extortion. Fire Quint alone in my server is 72g, Asmo is 368g, glittering ebony is 275g
The problem is that this is the essence of every freemium game, and devs tend to use these “you can grid it for free for 1241841 gold / 1283 hours this $12,99 item!”. The idea is that once a potential buyer sees how much of a hassle it is to get said item by crafting, its store pricing becomes more tempting. Its just bad taste in general.
Yeah whathever they do with the game you can always quit, but i don’t really see that as an excuse to accept any behavior.
I like to compare the cost of things with items with real use in the game, such as a set of voidbent armor. Would anyone usually craft /\ this instead of voidbent gear? Just to have a different tent skin? Come on. IMO this level of grinding should be placed for store armors, then we might reach a good point.
I don’t know why people are surprised at seeing yet another absurd grind being added to this game after all we’ve had. This is obviously just the beginning. They see you all spending tens and hundreds of hours to up a virtual number so they keep giving you more of the same.
There are plenty of people complaining that levelling to 60 or getting your skills to 200 is way too easy so there ya go, as they say.
Am I the only one that gathers mats anymore? Everyone talking about how much they are in ah… the only things I buy are reagents and some of my gear to be competitive while I still leveling crafting…
