I’m currently still running the Lazarus Bow and Javelin of Dryadic Empowerment. Are there better named options I should be looking into.
In general, what perks for each weapon should I be keeping my eyes open for?

iirc without perks, i think wayward thread might of been a little better than lazbow. at least what some of the better bow players i used to know said.
but really what skills do you use the most and is its perk worth it on the weapon is probably the best place to start.
fortifying perforate on a weapon would give you 6 seconds of max stacks. otherwise imho enfeebling skewer is probably really good 44% weaken for 8 seconds.
if you want to test it there is a crafting one for
not much of an investment to mess with it actually.

I’m running Pen/Rapid/Poison on Bow and Perf/Jav/Kick on Spear. Enfeebling Poison Shot and Fortifying Perforate seem like good perk options.
enfeebling poison shot is 25% weaken. it aint bad but it will only ever hit one person (not the poison cloud) im assuming you are doing it for the triple debuff buff.
im not sure if its worth dropping a laz bow of wayward for it though.

My choice for bow is Bowman's Pride - Item - New World Database
They also made vicious increase headshot damage
