been playing bow after getting my heals to 625 and enjoying it but i can hit for 6-6.5 crits one day and next day its 1k less ? so confused. and i have amassed a ew bows lazarus bow and the enchantress etc and trying to get one for everywhere.
It’s dependant on the abundance of fortify. You’ll find in group play a lot of your damage will be nullified. Aside from that bow has so many modifiers that can drastically increase damage if they all line up.
6k crits only on people with less than 550 gs, and no resilient and i’m not even joking. You can hit up to 3-4k on penetrating shot tops on light armor if your target has good gear, light atacks up to 2k and heavy atacks close to 3k. medium with all the fortifys 1k or less, with no fortifys 1300 probably.
In some specific cenarios (your target having lowwwww health) you can hit heavys for 4k or at least close to that as well.
i will not even mention heavy because i haven’t hit a heavy foe with the bow for a while now. People show footage and ask for nerfs because of the 550 gs that actually get oneshoted.

Low health is a bit generous i wouldn’t call 4k hp low i’ve died in med to a 5k hit. thats almost half my health
Then you don’t have 5 resilient, a single aversion and probably the guy was running a glass cannon build
