What is happening to people that will have 2 toons on the same server

Hello!

I have not heard anything official, regarding the upcoming merger tonight. And folks which will have 2 characters on the same server! Do we get free xfer tokens or are they both going to just exist on the same server? This happen to me before, and my banks were jacked up. So previously, I ended up deleting one of them as I could not play either.

My understanding is that you get to have both on the same server together. Don’t think they intended for this but don’t think they have much of a fix either so they are allowing it.

LOL good thing are not on the same faction right?
I guess double cooldowns will be a thing for me.

Sounds like the smart thing to do now is max out the toons you can have per region. Then when they merge servers and you have an extra toon on the server, you’ve got a ton of extra settlement storage space to satisfy your hoarding addiction.

yes, I will have 2 60s with 2x cool downs daily and the extra storage. My wife can hand them to me…lol

Nothing. I have two on ygg. They were merged a couple of months ago

Ive got a strong feeling this will be irrelevant soon.

Anyone who was clever made another character a long time ago knowing this would happen eventually but going forward I see one of these things happening;

  1. They no longer do the merges this way and player population is handled differently in the future.

  2. They get rid of the archaic system of not allowing players to create two characters in the same world.

It just depends on how AGS is going to handle characters in the future but I forsee a change coming and hopefully its number 2 like I said above.
