Ya for PvP musket is awful rn, if that’s really your goal then that’s the weapon. You will not have fun.
May I suggest running offensive rapier with a spear? A infrequently used build that excels in single target combat. That’s the one I can think of that I don’t see used much, but still is decent
quickly getting phased out in favor of GA it seems like. But I guess we will see in a few weeks if it keeps it spot. War meta changes slower than OPR ect…
I won’t be surprised if top wars still use hatchet though. The stamina advantages and berserk cancel are more powerful than what most other melee weapons offer.
Ya I think it still has a place, rn in OPR anything melee is gonna feel awful cause of all the range. I think it just takes people to change how the play hatchet and it’s still a viable weapon. DD was a crutch to a majority of the hatchet users
The healing nerf was a bigger nerf than defy death (5% leaching change). They also took away the 15% fortify on hatchet light attacks. (although all fortify was nerfed so that isn’t that big of a deal)
Musket main since day 1 here. I’m trying to make it work in OPR, but so far out of the 10 OPRS today it seems to me that 30% are FS users 25% bows 20% icegauntlet/lifestaff 15% Spear/GA 8% SwordnSheild and 2%musket… which is me… Out of the 10 I only saw 1 musket user, and we becamefriends instantly and refused to attack eachother
We just started T-bagging because neither of us had seen another musket user, had nothing to do with how we usually play. if this was pre patch I would target this dude more than any other player to assert my dominance for sure
