This is only because of PVP the players always complain about everything and then there constantly stuffing our weapons around the faster they can have there own server or something and get lost the better then our weapons can be mostly stable and wont need nerfs and buffs every week/month.
Im a firm believer that if one thing/mechanic/whatever excels then its time to buff its counter rather than nerfing it to the ground.
It could work especially well in NW. There is not a lot of variables here to begin with.
Buff SnS tanking. thank you.
I tend to favor nerfs. When you start buffing everything to catch up to broken things⦠you just speed up the power creep that ruins the entire game. But if I call for a buff or nerf depends on how I feel about the situation and the state of the game. New World needs both buffs and nerfs but I think it needs far more nerfs for many more things.
If we were struggling to not tip the scales then im not entirely against it. But what we have right now is a culture of people who are more prone to lean on the negative inclinations. We are far more likely to click on a video that meantions the word hate horrifying, never, and in this case, nerf has that certain stimulous. This is unfortunate to think but is the fanbase simply chasing negative posts because we have been conditioned to do so? I think yes. Which is why im trying to do my best to hinder that with a crucade against the nerf culture. Because someone needs to take it down a few pegs so we can all bicker with at least a 50/50 ratio.
Because itās better to nerf overpowered weapons than buff everything else, as the latter leads to ridiculous power creep.
Imagine if, rather than nerf heavy armor life staff, they cranked up light armor damage and disease. All of a sudden those become the only two viable playstyles, and anything in the middle just doesnt even stand a chance anymore.
Or, imagine if they didnāt nerf the rapier, but rather buffed grabs, roots, and melee tracking so you could keep up with rapier evades and fleches. This would ābalanceā the interaction between weapons and the rapier, but totally kill every other scenario.
This thread got me all nerfed up.
