I’m waiting… lol

The population isn’t very high right now though so I wouldn’t rush in. We all think we’ll be pulled into a bigger server.
I get what you’re saying. I guess my favorite aspect is that community feeling like the old days of WoW too. There’s something about seeing the same people in towns and in chat, and starting to recognize people’s personalities, and saying hi to someone you did a dungeon with the day before. I love that stuff.
But…well, you know. The stuff that’s hurting the game is starting to outweigh the good stuff for me unfortunately.
My favorite part of NW right now is all the salty ex-players who were part of the 99% that got permanently banned. Blizzard would never look this deeply into an issue and post a response in less than 24 hours with graphs and brutally honest details. I’m happy knowing that the duped gear is removed from the market and the characters behind it gone. Fish on brothers!

Ahhh gotcha. I am going to make a character over there and test out the latency.
Those kinds of relationships and communities are so hard to replace and duplicate
That said, it’s people like the ones in this thread that have the grit to stick around that help create those awesome communities.
I love gathering, crafting, fishing, exploration, pvp like wars. I generally love the game and have fun in it.
I noticed a pretty big drop in my friends list earlier! I wonder if it was from the permabans…
For all the grief that AGS gets for this or that, the one thing that I will continue to praise them for is making the tough choices to do the things that will help the game long term
and I agree with you 100%. AGS is absolutely not screwing around with getting these exploits fixed. I mean, there isn’t a monthly subscription revenue stream for them to worry about and they’re still being gung ho about it. Respect.
Heck yea dude. Glad you’re liking it too! There is a lot to enjoy.
Not logging on lmao
I play all day, and i wouldnt do that if i didnt enjoy it a LOT.
I know they will fix things and add more.
So im patient and have fun exploring stuff.
I noticed that anyone that rushed this game, hated it. If you take your time and chill, its extremely enjoyable

At least you’re here, though! Thanks for popping by. What other games are you into at the moment?
You’ll see me in global chat shooting the breeze with the server pretty much always. Hit me up. Most anyone will be around to help.
I enjoy exploring the zones, mapping the resource locations mentally, planning my harvesting/crafting goals for the day, and deciding what area I want to work town or faction in for the day.
All I’m missing to be completely happy is the ability to grow my wilderness camp into a proper (small) home and garden and a path of progression that allows for addition/upgrade of machines for use.
That way, I could place my home (still works as a camp) and anyone in the area could make use of the machines (“taxes” going to me).
This would give settlements and companies incentive to win their invasions as well as their wars… open competition.
They’d have to tweak things a bit, but man, that would be my perfect new world.
I have been loving the sheer Atmosphere and Community ( sometimes lol ) along with the various skills, quest, gathering going into the towns and hearing the ambience, or the music while climbing mountains and fighting wolves, this game has a lot of potential and i am happy to stick around with it and see where it goes tbh.
I am REALLY enjoying seeing all the game breaking weapon ability exploits and bugs, food stacking, duping, and the continued trade house and server downtime that make this game unplayable.
EXACTLY what I expected when I paid for this experience! #FAVE
I’ve just reached level 36 so I spend about an hour a day completing missions to gain XP and also just wandering around. I really enjoy the diversity that can be found in the map. While completing Brightwood missions I ended up in Bronze Grove - super colorful and fun to explore. Almost every zone has its own character and I hope the developers continue to add to this.
As noted, I play about an hour or so for a daily session. This keeps the game fresh without the monotony of grinding XP. I wonder if many people that are disaffected on this forum treated the game as a race to level up as quickly as possible without enjoying the content. Of course, some people will never be happy and just like to take a pee on the rest of us.
My favorite aspect of New World is when Im not playing it.
I wish more players had your mindset.
