Some of the towns/settlements to visit are designed great and others not so much but why did you buy a house in the area you did? I haven’t gotten a house yet so just curious if there was any particular motive on your choice?
Utility be damned!
I started alpha in First Light, fell in love with FL, and will never leave! First light for life!

I like Windsward, in particular, the river by the Arcana station and the fact there is a bank so close to the fast travel point. But my favourite town is Mourningdal, which is like Windward but with more soul and less people. If I could improve one thing about Mourningdale it would be to add another bank in a better location (near the town board would be great!)
I have the house across from the TP in EF. Since the update, it is a straight-up manor. It also has sentimental value because I was in the company that was first to own EF at OG launch. I knew it wouldn’t last long and had to crush territory standing to 30 to get the best deal on the biggest house…in those days, coin was tight.
Mourningdale, the layout of the crafting stations is 100% the best of all towns (besides brimstone) and there arent many people there so my fps are more normal. I even got 300 standing there
Brimestone.
Layout of crafting stations
House layout has 2 balconies-one small one large porch overlooking an area, great rooms, 3 levels, and very short walk to crafting stations, trading post, faction rep.
Kelethin
Why? The Camera angels were atrocious and you would constantly fall to your death while trying to get around town.
Arent they all the same town just rotated differently?
Kelethin! I had a wood elf druid!
those were the golden days of MMOs. I also had a dark elf Cleric and guided on Veeshan for a short while. I was so addicted to EQ.
Wow, that brings back some memories.
Mourningdale is the best layout in terms of proximity between crafting stations and trading posts. Although I have Everfall and Brimstone just because of high tier crafting stations in my server.
