What Should Be a Top Priority Right Fix Now

I’ve wondered about that. Are you talking about how when you port to your house it has to render everything? It never used to do that and now it does it every time.

Yes I noticed that too.

definitely isn’t the server load. Back when the game had over 500k active players, war lag and desyncing wasn’t even close to being this bad. It seems each patch it gets progressively worse.

I would add another thing here, but certainly NOT a top priority.

Since the February patch dropped every time I log into the game it pins 6 of my quests. Quests I never had pinned and I am 100% positive that I have them all set not to auto pin. It drives me nuts that every time I log in I have to go to my quests and unpin these quests.

Yea, whatever they did to the Feb patch, we now have to wait for our house to render before moving. That was never the case prior.

I’m pretty sure the reason it was fine in the beginning was that there were no really established metas. The meta has been increasing numbers of IGs. I’m convinced the main problem in this game has something to do with the IG. Whether it’s the amount of calculations going on, something with the animations/cc or what, I bet if we just got rid of IG, many, many issues would solve themselves.

And now the meta is everyone has an IG as an offhand. GA/IG has been taking over Camelot.

Thats very possible. The first fixes they tried to fix lag way back when were taking away stacking are abilities from IG and LS.

Make bow relevant and more than an AOE point slug in OPR.

FIX LUCK! Or atleast explain how it works in complete sentences that make sense.

Make crafting worth doing! Not a way to gamble all your money away like it is now.

Factions, make them unnecessary to progress with the story line.

Well this issue is in the game for the past 4 months. We understand that it might not be easy to fix, but in my opinion it needs to be addressed with high priority.
I wouldnt even try to get new content out before this is fixed as it is impacting the whole gameplay experience in a huge negative way.
And here is where we can see the problems. Although being so old and so significant, we haven’t seen any real progress and real communication other than posts like yours that “Devs will be informed” and “they probably know about it”, but what we need them to know is that they should stop other things and fix this first.

all that stuff is bad, but im more worried about the quests popping up on the right side of screen every time i log in, even though i have all quest tracking off. please fix the broken quest tracking.

I got this bug on Live, at Genesis garden keeper boss, just now. As soon as the fight started, I used maelstrom and instead of using the ability I got stuck in animation and couldnt do anything at all for like 10-20 seconds until the boss hit and staggered me, then it was fixed.

In the same run, I also used shockwave but instead I charged with the hammer in my hands.

February Bugs & Bots mission failed so hard it’s insane. How does a triple A gaming studio invest a whole ass month into fixing existing problems and cause more bugs than we had before?

My entire company quit (twice) because since launch they couldn’t fix the dsync/lag/eternal bugs or even address them. Biggest meme of the year (arleady) is this:

INPUT BUFFERING
  • Fixed an issue where inputs buffered before a player was affected by a crowd control effect (stagger, stun, knockdown) would activate when the effect ended, instead of more recent inputs. Crowd control effects now clear the input buffer when they are first applied.
  • Fixed an issue where attempting to use an ability and then swapping weapons would incorrectly attempt to use the ability on the new weapon that shared the same hotkey.

Was crying out loud when Shroud lost it in the partnered stream about the skill queue system. When he confronted the AGS team member and asked if this is a bug, he didn’t even address that they “fixed” it on that very same day in the morning, but rather replied with AGS’ standard excuse “our team will definitely look into it”.

This happened to me when I first started playing the game. Which was about 2 weeks after launch. I can’t remember when it stopped, but it recently reappeared after the Feb. patch.

Early on people were screaming for new content. They believed this was the primary problem with the game. The argument was that it would bring people back to the game.

A number of us voiced our disagreement. As expected the devs listened to the most vociferous responses.

Perhaps the devs might begin to listen? The core of the game itself has many issues. While these have probably not been ignored they seem to have taken a lower priority than content.

Content is vitally important for entertainment like an mmo. However, no one can enjoy content that is peppered with game breaking issues.

Freaks can not be called otherwise. Amazon has scammed hundreds of aggroers for money and blocked paid amazon prime accounts!

Bingo!! Content IS huge for keeping people playing, but its like worrying about the baking time of something when you haven’t even put the recipe together. You need a game running properly and smoothly before you start worrying about pushing new content.

Right now most the stuff in combat does seem to work, I think the last patch was an overall improvement to combat

That being said ice shower and grav well are the two abilities that completely seem to break the combat and cause some really really whacky stuff to happen

It might be time to get the boys to look at what is going on with these abilities, try to correct it or if not just rework the damn things
