What we need is Arenas and some basic changes

I am a huge fan of this game - it is finally a normal product after many years of dry fruitless MMORPG market. It has a lot of great stuff - many things I love (some I dislike, but it is impossible to please everyone taste in every area).

Expertise patch made me feel excited it was a good way to allow other ways to bump GS without forcing to go boring elite grind. I really enjoyed it together with winter event. And I thought that after a rough start you will finally have a good streak… until I saw your latest patch notes…
Why bump GS to 625, and use different system for that?

What we need right now is not GS bump. We need new players and we need to let them catch up. Not make a bigger abyss between new and old players. Also expertise does not need bumping at all. Gear farming should not be our only goal. You will introduce new weapons and we will still have to grind that weapons.

I am excited for new variants of expeditions (basic lazarus should be fixed tho anyway), but GS bump is a huge NO for me. Still I believe that expeditions could be done differently (just stars variant with each stars being harder, and 3* being godlike level or something). But I’ll give your idea a shot, maybe it will be great!

If I were in your shoes I would probably:

  1. Introduce PVP arenas as a new game mode to please PVP players - 1vs2, 3vs3, 5vs5 - anything like that - just pure fast PVP match BO3 with weekly or monthly ranks.

For playing arenas I would provide gypsum (new type) and another rewards. This would allow players to have a pure PVP mode (outpost is cool but it has PVE aspects - such a mode is needed too I would even love outpost to have more PVE stuff, but many players hate PVE aspects and there should be alternative).

Pros: Endgame activity for competitive players with rankings. Starter 60 lvl activity for players that want to bump their expertise. This would bring a lot of fun for players.
Such an acitivity of course need great balancing, but many games has such a system.

  1. Introduce assassin weapon as soon as possible.

With current shift in meta there are a lot more ranged players. Such a meta does not need a change with buffs or nerfs. To balance things out we need assasins! Backline killers with huge DPS. Bruisers (tanks/offtanks) would be good against assasins, and assassins would be good against other DPS classes. They should be able to burst, nuke, trim out backlines.
That would turn this game upside. And there would be more balance then ever. Currently there are melee vs ranged changes which favors one or another. I believe that ranged big dps is needed, and that should hurt everyone, but assassin aspect would be huge, as rangeds would be less safe.
Introducing new weapon would also allow for expertise grind which I see you believe is needed.

  1. Make changes to portals.

Portals are pretty cool idea - to have in open world, but they bring almost no effect after we do them. They are also boring as hell.
I believe that they should be changed. Maybe after we clear portals a lot there should be a chance for a demon lord to spawn and we’ll have to fight him in an open world, or maybe if we clear portals many time in one area we could be blessed for 24h and no portals would open at that time.
Maybe closing portals should prevent invasion?
I would really love portals to have catastrophic scenario where by doing portals we can spawn a boss that would need a lot of ppl to kill. Otherwise he would plague area and make everyone luck -10 % for 24h or something.
Not too huge but fun, and requiring cooperation.
Maybe portals should mutate too? There are lots of ways to upgrade them - one thing for sure - they need upgrade.

  1. Companies & Taxes changes.

We are in a desparate need for company quests and storage. We need ways for companies to integrate with people more. Maybe companies need some events and instanced base that could be furnished?
There is also a need for change of gold flux in a company owning territory. There should be introduced a system that would split a gold earned through members and make use of most of it for cities upgrades/buffs. Right now two biggest cities earn more money than half of a server and this money can destroy whole market in a moment. Such a situation is toxic, as money is almost everything in this game - you can buy infinite amount of keys for endgame dungeons, you can buy best gear and make your company easly most geared/strongest.
I get it that city should provide money - cool, but maybe 100-150k weekly at most after all the expenses, not milions.

  1. Free weekly entrace to Lazarus and Garden of Genesis and orb changes.

I like crafting orbs feature in this game. But I believe that endgame expeditions should be more accessible for everyone. This is why I believe everyone should have 1 free entrace for Lazarus and Genesis. This way anyone can enjoy dungeons at least a bit without the need for crafting/slot buying.
There should not be a content in this game that is not accessible for free.
Also I would make orbs sellable - they are being sold anyway. Let players sell them 100% legit, as now exist a place for scam.

  1. PVE Arenas rankings and rewards boosts/keys more accessible

Those arenas need some love. They should have rankings (time), that reset weekly and provide a little sweet reward. That would make them more competitve. Keys should also be more accessible for players (maybe drop during expedition - 1 weekly?) or rewards shall be boosted a bit.
In future arenas should have variants or star levels, right now they are too easy.

  1. Expeditions statistics and hall of fame.

This is easy to make proposition. Maybe not crucial as others, but many players love competing. And we love seeing our stats. I want to know if I am dealing more DMG with hatchet on Genesis than fire mage or whether our hammer hit as hard as he believes on Lazarus. This all can be provided with a little summary after expedition/arena). Hell, It could even work in every party, as most game I played had such a bars.
Hall of fame on the other hand should record great deeds made in Aeternum - no rewards, just a book in which history of server is recorder (first expedition made, fastest expedtion, biggest war dmg). Just fun statistics that could bring joy to players that love competation.

There are many other quality of life changes like:

  1. Chat fixes and new chat types
  2. Group finder
  3. Anti cheat for bots
  4. Elite chest cooldown information or reset cooldown at midnight
  5. Gypsum limit stacking for 3 days (for players that cannot login each days, but want to stay relevant)
  6. Small boxes removal and transfering loot to monster to prevent elite “mats chest runs”
  7. Optimalisation of game experience
  8. Fixing reports (not working) I report bot daily and he has 57 lvl, still farming essences…
  9. Outpost rush statistics and ranking calculations fixing (need points for DPS, takendown should be a kill)
    And many others provided in great suggestions by this community.

I know that I’ve listed many stuff for competition but this is what we need on endgame, not another grind…

No one interested in such a changes? I am sad.
