Checked through the video. The aptitude package is bop, so maybe the schematics in it as well
That really depends on what you consider āEndgame Contentā.
Is it the content you want to do as a player if you have reachted the āEndā?
Is it the content the devs tell you to do when you reached the āEndā?
With open Worlds like the one in NW I just like to run around the Open World the most, doing whatever just plops up before me. I like to go, climb places I have not yet been (question marks).
I like to revisit places I have already been.
I would like to have a space for myself that does not cost me a fortune which I can decorate. Maybe also have something like a garden or herbarium?
I would like to have engaging Taverns, with fights, with games, with bards.
I would like to see random events happening when exploring (like i.e. the meteor in the winter event). Maybe something like bandits trying to rob you. Or farmers that need help.
I would like to explore some lore while exploring the world.
I would like to help protect the city more with my crafting skills. Like crafting or gathering an additional barrier, preventing certain Workstations to be downgraded if you have a house in this city.
I would like to find some easter eggs no one else has found yet (or rarely).
I would like to se something like a ātravel merchantā that buys some small stuff and travels from town to town.
I would like to see random events like āracesā or competition for archery etc. Just for the sake of it.
Actually I dont even need super duper legendary rewarding stuff to be happy or spending time in a game.
Sure will do dungeons etc too but probably not daily just to prevent of becoming stale.
Yeah the open world elite trash packs are not really interesting to me either, at all. And getting the HMW up by doing what you find the least interesting was what got me frustrated to begin with.
As for finding parties today it is tedious and problematic. I agree someting needs to be done about that.
Well all of that sounds like it would be fun to be honest. I meant more engaging with end-game content with that said, end game content should also give you the rewards to progress in your personal goals. To give an example, if you would be able to do your herb garden if you had to run a end game dungeon it would probably be more worth it for you.
Ranking PvP content in closed dungs 1v1 and 5v5 something like arenas. 2nd Short closed solo dungeons spawning in50+ lvl areas with forced pvp system where players can dive each other, also they should be place where you have a chance to get schems for unique weapons or items to craft.
This! Make OPR playable (almost) all day, not just at primetime.
Maybe people were too low back then? Our server got a pop of about 400 and I canāt say that I have major problems finding expedition groups.
Remove tuning orbs and allow a team of 60ās to pick an āeliteā version of all the expeditions.
Make invasions allow like 250 players. Scale somewhat up based on player count.
Remove territory ownership and give pvp all the matchmaking they want. 1v1ās 2v2ās 3v3ās etc. All the way up to 100 vs 100 so full companies can war as much as they want. Then give them a zone that is force flagged and drops all the pvp specialized gear they could want. (āBonus damage to players perks and what notā)
Content that actually requires teamwork and ability to use brain.
Tbh. I donāt think there is an answer to this question. I guess now that the new system isnāt unfair dogpoo anymore itās completely up to the players again to determine what is endgame content for them. For some it maybe is fishing, for many it is crafting, for some it is OPRs, others like dungeons, some like open world pvp, some like wars and the list goes on and on. You engage in whatever endgame content because you like it.
Perhaps rank all servers and you declare war from your lower ranked server. If you win, your whole company moves up to the new ranked server
Just thinking out of the box
What would make you engage more with end game content?
I have just one wish, make it SOLOABLE.
This is also the reason why I hate mob grinding for HWM. Yes I know I can play as ninja with those chests, but thatās not how I like to play MMO. I much rather chop 100 trees than play Metal gear Solid on those end-game zones. And if I run solo on those end game zones, by the end of my run even for 1 hour, I felt like I went for manual labor for 8 hours. I play to have fun & relax.
So why do I play solo & not just join others for activities?
Scheduling & I just want to play the content that I feel playing on my OWN time. I donāt want to wait for others so that I can kill mobs or explore certain areas. I donāt like spamming asking LFG do to dungeons or arenas.
But I donāt mind joining them if they are available & Iām also doing the same activity at the same time. Itās just that most of the time I donāt feel like doing that specific activity or Iām doing something different when groups ask for a group-up.
Not really too low. Just the pool of players who find it worthy to grind the orbs for the actual endgame dungeons is just low. So if you only have letās say 700 people. Out of which youāre already crossing off players who have no interest in expeditions to begin with, then crossing off players who donāt feel like getting the mats for the orbs to be able to repeat the content, you are just left over with a very small pool of people. On top of that, you have to factor in the time at which people are able to play.
Cross-server, you expand this pool of players by a lot. Sticking to the region, for example for EU youāre suddenly dealing with a pool of tens of thousands.
if the combat really were like dark souls id have that to keep me busy for a long time.
Not being on 1 of the 135 US East servers with less than 10% population during peek hours.
I think different type of end game pvp like capture the flag but not needing to be a flag maybe capture the orb⦠ags like orbs and in 15v15 or 10v10 matches would be good but not 2v2 they just too small scale for new world.
We already have 1v1 itās a dual.
PvP with objectives are alot more fun than 5v5 kill each other first kinda thing.
Rainbow
Unicorns that poop
coins.
And that plays a happy song while the unicorn says āI love youā.

Actually having end game content would make me want to engage in it.
