I don’t actually know what that is. Like are we talking about having a server that doesn’t allow transfers or something and what is made there stays there? Is this about gold, gear and bots?
My dudes I truly do not know what this is but people are mad about it. Help me understand.
People right now have many different ideas about how it should work, but the general idea is yes, no transfers, only new characters.
People who support it quote all of the above. I would personally never create a new character on one of these, but I do get the appeal.

The vast majority of people quit at around 30-40. And the other part of quitters is likely at max lvl with lowish or mid gs and long way to go for BiS gear.
Also friends. New returning players likely want to start on a new server aswell to not feel as much behind(it’s just an mmo thing).
Also fresh servers are usually really enjoyable. The whole lvling experience isn’t a ghosttown, and pvp is usually rampant everywhere.
Different appeals
for it to remain untarnished by exploits and dupes they need to do patches a week after the legacy servers or the chances of it going bad quickly will be pretty high.
Fresh start servers are a fantasy that will have a honeymoon high for a week then implode on itself.
Its nice to get a clean start and play together with everyone experiencing the new level 1 - 25 remake. Also knowing dupes, gold exploits, crafting gear at 600-600 for stacking trophies and other weird stuff wont come because character transfers are disabled.
Cant wait for a posts like try hards and giga sweats destroyed my experiance xd New servers will be transerable anyway in 2 months. Now is really easy to get BIS from opr chests, starting pvp gear u get from pvp track. Imo after 1 month will be 0 difference between old and new servers. Surely old players will also make their character there so they will just kill newbies with their experiance and knowledge.
wdym ? We maxed out like 99% of weapon / life skill possible. I got my voidbent in first month after release. But economy of the game was absolutely trashed in a first few days, when ppl were able to dupe gold, trophies, exploiting tax system, so guild was able to make a milion gold in a week. I can not see any possibility how they could get rid of this.
These fresh servers will be a proper release for majority of pb. 45k players you have now in peak means absolutely nothing in comparison what is comming.
Stop talkin about those dupes yes it was, items have been removed from the game I was the one who lost some items cuz they were duped… PS. nowadays probably nobody will buy voidbent xd its crap now we know there are much better options.
Folks act like dupers, exploiters, bots, RMT scammers, and tryhards aren’t going to make a new character and infect those “Fresh Start” severs repeating the exact same problems that haven’t actually be fixed.

Yes ofc. this 2 months for fresh start is important for new and low level returning players. A lot of people also started in old servers anew 
I think a lot of peoplenare afraid their legacy servers will die, but I am sure devs will not let to that happend.
Legacy servers will probably die anyway. Only ppl who stay on legacy will be the ones who rule the cities.
See this is what you want to believe - but in reality I have been helping new players level up since a large influx of level 20s and 30s have returned. I think a lot of vocal Anti-Fresh start people on this forum are far more PRO new player than you think.
You are talking about people who stayed through the dupes, the exploiting, the still constant botting, the sever lack of content and dev communication.
Then you insult us by assuming we took part in any of that.
In reality we just put so much time into the game and had faith this entire time can you blame us for wanting people to return to the servers we never left?

Legacy servers are full of players who have been playing since launch -
Fresh start will be full of people who already quit once -
you can figure out the rest from there.
