Why are cut pristine gem prices drastically coming down? On my server (Delos - AP SOUTHEAST), the prices of pristine gems have suddenly increased to around 50-90g a piece and cut pristine gems have lots of listings in the range of 200g a piece!!
I just reached 150 Stonecutting and 125 Arcana, invested around 10k of my savings to level them up slowly over the past few days (gathering wood, selling Asmo bars) and now the cut pristine gems don’t even sell for 250-300g to even break-even with the costs of buying motes/quintessences and crafting the cut gems? Motes on my server go for 0.6g-0.9g each. It takes 180 motes (for 3 Quintessences), 1 pristine gem and 2 solvents(0.5g for 2) to cut a pristine gem. So even if we take 50g as average for a pristine gem, that’s 50 + (180 * 0.7) + 0.5 = 176.5g for one cut pristine gem (excluding any TP tax, crafting fee) and they don’t even sell for around 200g. Is my server that bad since it’s high pop or something to do with bots??
So is gem cutting no longer profitable? I just want to earn a small amount of 1000-2000g a day since I can only login/play for a few mins each day and I thought cutting pristine gems would be profitable for a casual gameplay style.
This game is not for solo casual players for sure 
I know it’s an MMO and it’s supposed to be that way, but it shouldn’t punish solo players at the same time. I think I’ll quit if this is how it’s going to be in the future after the patch drops
