What's the LONGEST you've farmed for an item in New World?

Over a year-i am not exaggerating I got 5K hours in the game now.

Trophy drops need to be more frequent

Trophy drops are extremely difficult. Several of us have played for over a year now. We are day one players, I hold the record on hours at 4.834K hours. Next one down is 3.5k hours of game time. We all have all luck gear, pearls, major luck trophies you name it We have soloed and grouped and put in hours/days/months farming two bosses. i farmed Signum Phalarae for over 8 hours.

just got really unlucky, other people came by, killed the dude 2-3 times and got the fire staff

I feel like the off spec main stat stuff is dropping for people. So I need the int ring and get the blackguard longsword. The Person needing the sword got the int ring. Non tradeable.

Was missing only medium (dex) Harbinger gloves and that piece alone took me a week, took a nap and came back as healer to trick the game, got it on SECOND kill

For me it’s Deeproot, I have Infernus which is basically the same but looks pretty ugly, and with Deeproot, nobody wants to just farm it. I have to do whole chest run to get one or two chances per day to get it.

Over 1 year to get a stacked deck even though I went on world tour runs every day. Finally after Brimstone patch came out I got 2 stacked decks in back to back runs. Other than that I farmed maybe a few hours to get some named greatswords

I just had this experience on my fresh start server char. I never got a stacked deck on my main in over 1k hours. First world tour I ran on FSS it dropped.

farmed about 200h in the pit of shattered mountain (ori and Pit Lord Daehi) and dropped 2 corrupted totems so far

I’d like to think I’m not brain dead enough to extend past 30mins for a single item.
