scream is way to OP its very hard but possible to dodge in 1vs1 but inside a fort/war it impossible to dodge it as a melee with all the ice storms etc going on and hit with a 2-3sec root = most of the times ure gonna get ganged and CC none stop u cant do anything why even use a GA srsly void blade does more damg and has self heal and a root gravity well almost evryone always gets out of that with certain abilitys since its not a root

they should start with upping the CD of scream to 30sec 15sec is a joke with all the cooldown reduce perks they can even reduce 10% cooldown/sec with harvest essence like wtf xd

Root is strongest CC? Then how it’s STUN? Let’s remove all roots, stuns and everything that stops u from doing left click to kill everybody. Oh and also -50 mov speed to all ranged, just to be sure.
There is no point in melee this dev team is completely ignoring balance now. Hell they even buffed the VG more in the PTR… This dev team is out of touch and clearly do not play the game.
Roots are stronger than stuns. Are you new to the game? Any damage taken other than DOTS remove the stun. That in itself makes stunning almost pointless other than to get 1 hit in before the next iframe dodge/roll away.
Root on the other hand, does not care if you get hit or not. Which is actually I think -backwards- from how it should be?
You’re minimizing what abilities do to make one look significantly worst than others.
You can use mobility out of ice shower also so I guess ice shower sucks now?
That’s basically asking why would any game in competitive balance around pro play and not casual play.
Simple, things that are op aren’t really op when actual decent skill comes into play or in a group setting which is the intent of balance. Everything can be op in casual play and AGS can literally probably do nothing about any weapon and in 2 months time another weapon will be “op” people learn how to play and learn how counters work.
It’s not, it’s called being FoTM which happens in every game that has any type of competition play to it. Players gravitate to whatever they feel is broken. I’m not saying or suggesting there isn’t any merit to it but it’s likely conflated.
Every war stream on my server for starters. Healers heal and play defensively.
Paladin builds work because it does two things at once. It was possible to kill a paladin with coordination. All those “lol 9v1” videos was in OPR with tower buffs and battle bread. Also with bugs such as resilience reducing all damage taken instead of crits only.
Exaggeration at best. GA/WH, SnS boys are just meat shields they don’t do anything without healers.
Healers are heal bots in this game because VG is too scary.
I’ve seen Frontline do jack squat and not push on points and I’ve seen back lines not follow up on Frontline pushes. Stop the bias.
Playing any weapon in this game is “easy” you only have 3 abilities. Tell me this
Can the VG catch?
Can the VG chase?
Does the VG have mobility?
So they don’t have “every ability at their disposal”

I get hit by scream and die if people follow up like everyone else. Does it bother me as much as you? Not at all.
My god what is wrong with people. Stop expecting to run unhindered to players and left click to victory. Engage the thing in your skull called a brain and use some strategy.
So let’s make it so there is no slow/root/stun so you can have an easy time just running up and slapping ranged people.
You can get gear that reduced these effects or dodge them, sure you might not dodge them all but you can dodge them. If you are so annoyed at them you could also use a shield so you can block any attack coming at you while you are stuck there for 3 seconds holding your dick but no…Lets just moan like hell that you cant dodge for shit and can’t be arsed to use a shield and must be squishy if you are killed in those few seconds.
This game or any other will never have a perfect balance there will always be some C moaning that they can’t play and want X nerfed, then those that got nerfed will moan because they are now weaker and get the rest nerfed and before you know it all classes play like a bag of XXXX and everyone leaves the game. Try and at least avoid them or counter them before you moan.
Yeah the problem are void gauntlett with a really close range cc and not the GA with a broken long range and really big area Gravity well… The hammer can perma stun u, the axe can stuck u in place and destroy u with just gravity well. Void gauntlet cc is shit compared to them, and guys just use freedom equipment ( that doesnt work on gravity well)

Clearly you don’t understand the basics of the game, stuns break on damage, every third stun is a free cc break with a large roll.
Root is not broken by damage, root doesn’t break on the third root.
You literally don’t know this game and it shows
Here’s an idea, let us dodge inside the root to at least use some i-frames if we got the stamina. Otherwise we’re just sitting ducks. As it stands, i can’t even switch to my rapier to riposte before i’m dead once i get rooted in melee range (weapon switching is still very clunky!).
I have almost 500 hours played since launch. Other than leveling most of my time is spent in OPR, I’ve died 10x more to stuns than roots. Stun = total loss of character control, you can’t respond at all, root = ability to respond, ie use your own stun, root, damage or what ever.
I have triple your time.
i play in every war on my server, i sit outside WW dueling while waiting for OPR.
what im saying is 3 stuns is a free break out, 100000000 roots = nothing.
there’s no built in save system like stuns.
its also worth noting you can take an infinite amount of damage during roots
you can only take damage ONCE during a stun before it breaks

He doesn’t, I hope he gets rooted by an ice shower and dies from it to understand why it’s so damn broken.
There is difference not being able to dodge fallows after you get out as well as the intial root and the root from range that can now be applied due to IG makes it stronger then grav well and since the shower is more defensive compared to grav well it is different.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to argue here. I’m not trying to be rude but can you explain it differently.
