When a new MMO comes out, the same people preaching that this game is gonna die are still gonna be on here screeching like banshees about how they love another game and how much they hate nw just like they did with LostArk.

I don’t see any great mmos coming out anytime soon. I know people have mentioned a couple of mmos coming out soon and imo they didn’t look all that. I don’t remember the name(s) but I remember just seeing some gameplay footage and was like, “Meh. Pass.”
I do think though LoL MMO could hurt (as it will the other mmos too) at least for the first couple of months. However, that is barely under way so we likely won’t hear/see much for a few more years.
and where is this ‘fine place’ ?
Lets see, less than 15k players now, lots of servers slowly dying even after the merge, regions in game can’t even function when there’s more than 50 players in it. I’m sorry this game is not in a fine place.

By the end of summer there is going to be 1 server per region maybe 2.
They need to make EVERYTHING cross server. OPR, Arenas, and the tradepost.

They need to improve the game performance first. The game loses players to lag, stutters and desync more than anything.

Yep me too, and these are especially boring.
Good thing is I like to PvP and to compete I need to grind out same dungeon, hope RNG is in my favour and gives me something so I never have to bother with the repetition.
AGS seriously who came up with that idea, or you never connected the dots?

Ok that’s fair your bar is set at the lowest. However most people have their bar set midway.
As a PvPer New World don’t offer me anything. If I want a MMO for PvP. I’ll just slide into GW2, ESO, BDO T1 Node Wars, soon BDO’s Arena of Solarie. Where I can get equalized skill based PvP action.
Until your current player base and Devs acknowledge this. Players on most servers will continue to be begging in global chat for people to queue up for PvP. While waiting in 90+ minute queues.
Again my server is already like this more than 90 minute queues for PvP. More than 30 minute queues for 3v3. I don’t know, at what point will you people see reason. Like is this really the hill you people want your game to die on. If so, enjoy the decline!
I think this kind of post only hurts the game further. It’s not constructive, no matter if some of the responses from within are constructive. As a whole it’s very negative, and it just causes more strain.
Let’s not kid ourselves. When a new mmo comes out. the same thing will happen with it as New World. I know alot of people are holding out for the next big thing, but another dead mmo isn’t going to help this genre. Ashes of Creation will go through this exact same thing.
I’ve posted a topic talking about how we need to band together and get the real answers from AGS. Help me get the truth.
this game is p2w and if you cant see it then you are blind. Players and these shell companies alike buy coins left and right. How else do you think players are buying these items over max coin? This game is losing players every single day. Losing players even at peak 20k players isnt good. NW isnt on a “really good road” with this dev team. They cant release an update without breaking something in the process. Since the launch we have had 2 new weapons and a new expedition. 9 months for them to do that. Good job AGS. Keep it up.

Unfortunately since the mobs are copied and pasted all over the game with zero variation aside from a color swap, I already have the attack patterns of whatever mobs they put there memorized. I’m betting on yellow tinted pirates. Possibly skeletons. Or maybe lost farmers.
I’ll also take a stab in the dark and say every single quest in the zone will be one of the following:
Open chest
Kill X mob
Collect X amount of wood
And the pvp quests will consist of:
Stand around for 90 seconds
open box
kill turkey
Can’t wait to experience this wild and wacky new zone.
Then don’t. Go play something else… no one is making you play it.

AGS developers don’t care if the game is dead or not, or if the players are happy or not… Thy only care the money thy get every month. So you are correct. We just waste our time to reply, open threads, give suggestions and feedbacks but AGS doesn’t fix anything for +7 months. That’s why, the game is at its current bad situation in every possible way 
… We see the same things we experienced in Archeage for 7 years old mega p2w toxic game of mmorpg history, and now the same ****** happening at New World too that all that toxic Archeage players and guilds came to New World too.

Maybe the dev’s really do care but the current situation in the game is exactly what they were working for.
Maybe the intention was to draw in the so called “Toxic Archeage players” and offer people who could play 8-12 hours a day 5+ days a week the opportunity to use the game as a work from home source of income.
Certainly is supporting evidence in the game for such a theory. The extended period the massively overinflated taxes were left, the tax income for territory owners being multiplied even after said tax inflation was corrected. The seemingly nonexistent bans for gold dupes or RMT transactions.
Maybe I’m just bored and attempting to stir the pot.
Honestly whenever Ashes of Creation drops, even if it has bugs, it’ll rip a bunch of players from lots of MMO’s…hell even NCSoft’s new MMO they’re working on has more appeal and I stopped playing their games a long time ago.
Ashes of Creation is like 2-3 years away at minimum. I don’t understand why people keep bringing up AoC in arguments when it’s not coming out anytime soon lol.
This is 100% accurate. They have really poor focus. Every month it gets worse and worse. Huge issues like shell companies and bad RNG game design are ruining the game, and a new region isn’t going to fix that. Really hope they plan on fixing some of these huge issues soon. I feel like these problems will be fixed eventually, but it just feels like it’s taking too long for bigger issues. Especially the shell companies. Come on!
I’m not aware of any MMOs coming anytime soon to replace new world. They still have time, i guess.
