It’s really not. Some servers might perform better than others for whatever various reason, but only people that live very close to the servers have actually great performance.
What do you mean?
I play on an East Coast server and I live in California. I have acceptable performance. So I’m not sure what your getting at. Maybe that’s because I’m used to the ping I get as I always play west coast to east coast on MMORPGs. But yeah, its well within normal performance to all other games I play for me. Nothing out of the ordinary.

“acceptable” is not “great”.
Also, this is your experience vs the however many thousands of people that do experience fps drops, lag spikes, desyncing, etc on a daily basis in this game. We all know it’s a thing.

Stuff happens in PvE as well. I’ve somehow missed abilities on stunned enemies. Been hit by an NPC that suddenly appeared in front of me, etc.
