When Brimstone hype dies out, everyone will quit because of the Musket

Main game activity is not PVP its PVE (gathering, crafting and stuff). PVP players are max 5-20% of the overall game population. So the answer is “NO” not everyone will “quit” just because a musket nerf, thats just you who will quit because its your plan because ure pissed about the change.

I’m also planning to sell my computer because of this.

Not saying everyone dude. Please read the text. Ofc there will be PvE players and we know most of them suck at PvP. Just go read reddit threads with players who went OPR and never wanted to join again because of this ridiculous weapon.
But those players who wants to PvP but still grinding now will drop like flies.

The title is literally, “When Brimstone hype dies out, everyone will quit because of the Musket.

are you, it’s okay you made a statement out of frustration and got called out, happens.

to your point I don’t think muskets alone will make pvpers quit as much as it’s the lack of meaningful rewards and artificial friction in this game through progression timegates.

the fact we can respec very easily (something the devs made easier after launch). but building multiple pvp ready set to make respec useful is just a bad design from a pvp standpoint.

it’s long past the point of removing progression grind from pvp and keeping it squarely where it belong in PvE.

that is how every good modern MMO handles PvX games

I’m sure there’s some facetiousness included, obviously but it was still funny af.

If I were high I would stand by it :man_shrugging:

If this was a PvP only game it would’ve died long ago, that bad the PvP was in the past year and still is to this day.

You have to PVP on a regular basis to be annoyed by musket. But since the PVP is in absolute garbage state since like months to the point where i cant be even bothered farming the reward pvp track for some of the nice items there - i stick with PVE and probably won’t quit even after the hype dies - that being said - pve is not an ifinite content if they wont add new things.

I’m a PVE player , I’ll be still playing regarding of musket changes

INFINITE SCALING MUTATIONS LIKE DIABLO 3’S GREATER RIFTS IS THE KEY TO ENDLESS PVE AND IDK WHY THEY HAVEN’T DONE IT.

If you could endlessly go up mutation levels that ACTUALLY scaled instead of gave a buff or debuff based on GS you could start seeing PvE leaderboards like in Diablo 3.

Ok ok title might be overrated I understand you musket defenders. Seems like you really want your copium kills in OPR to stay.

noone even defended the musket just called you out on your hyperbole.

just take the L and move on. or edit the title.
