Oh i was hoping for a really cool story MB lol hope it gets fixed man stay strong.
After you re-log back in, you’re in the downed state, does the E button appear or not? Also, even if the E button doesn’t appear, have you tried holding the E for 2-3 seconds then tapping it? Try that.
There’s a few things I would like you to try see if it would help you
yep tried leaving it for a few hours then re-logg tried spamming and holding the E key gonna need a new keyboard after that XD

That’s funny, I’m happy you’re a bit optimistic about this frustrating case, here’s something you can try, relog, return to the main menu is what I mean, don’t log back in to your character, create a new character, can be in any world or region (you can delete it afterwards) log into that character try to complete the 2-3 min tutorial then log out and try your character again, see if that works
i have just tried what you suggested , the new character I made worked fine and even died and could respawn , it made no difference to my main character tho still stuck in death limbo 
Were you by any chance dead prior to an update etc? Like were you in a downed state when the server shut down?
no this was an issue before last update its just persisted through the update
is there anyway a GM could come and revive me or move me out of the water because my friends cant get me while im in water

I died in the water and I can’t get up, there is no resurrection button, restarting the computer does not help, reinstalling the client did not help either, the guys from the guild tried to approach me to resurrect failed, the game nickname Koiyan, Hyperborea server, please help me for almost a day I have not been playing because of this.
Had the same problem. The solution is simple. Ask someone to ressurect you. Go to the arena with boss (like siren in reekwater or the one in edengrove) and die there. The issue is - dying in the arena doesn’t kill you but immobilize until someone from your group ressurects you. But sometimes this immobilize thing doesn’t dissappear and you’re stuck with it even after exiting the arena. I bet you did arena recently, right? This solution helped me at least. The only issue, you need to waste a key for this to work. Also it’s strange how this bug still hadn’t been fixed. I had it 3 weeks ago.
