When will fix 20% elemental dmg exploit? Or its legit?

I have done the maths and the t2 gem does do more dmg. But only in int scaling weapons, it isn’t gonna happen in other circumstances.

It does about 4.6 percent more dmg.

Pretty sure this works with t2 amber gem also.

Explanation i heard was you get a choice between overall a bit more damage scaling but the higher tier ones come out on top in scenarios where resistances come more into play.

Who knows though, it is weird and always has been weird.

You can check the gems on the dmg calc with any wep.

It’s intended, it’s just weird design that only AGS understands with their clunky math

It doesn’t. Tier 5 gems still provide more damage in situations where you’re dealing with higher elemental weaknesses.

For example, a tier 5 saphire gem in a spear will still have you doing more dmg vs a corrupted than a tier 2 gem in the spear

This has been broken since launch. Mentioned a few times before but AGS let it be. We’ve had plenty of bruisers using GA with t2 aquamarines doing a lot of dmg and we have endured this even before GS era. AGS bias towards meeles in insane. The worst part is if you have a built made to endure meele’s attack you are fcked since with a t2 games some of the dmg is converted to elemental so if you went heavy on physical dmg defense you r fcked. Its so dumb. Whereas mages cant do that. So if a bruiser goes full rubies against fire mages there is nothing the mage can do to bypass that defense. But hey all meeles gotta do is slot a t2 gem and boom fck your physical defense and dont forget meele weapons (esp two handed) hit a lot harder (and their basic attacks are AoE) than any ranged weapon. Also this is a problem with musket users… you might slot gems against muskets but they all slot an elemental gem, physical defense is a joke

U are totally wrong. Test it urself. 20% elemental conversion gives u more DMG than pure int/ext dmg or 30%, 40%, 50% elemental conversion gems.

oh ,this is sad ,i havent exploited any bugs ,but i feel like im a joke since there’re so many ppl benefited from all kinds of bugs we would never know. ive been through so many fights that i lost, i had to face their laughs. and also include those that someone told me they’re skilled, they’ve practiced thousands of hours, etc. what were reals, what were lies? sounds like its all bullshit.

Yes it gives you additional elemental damage (up to 20%) connected with inteligence same as Runeglass of Ignited Opal gives you +12% damage while your stamina is not full, and hits inflict Burn, dealing 8% Fire damage per second for 2s (3 x 8% !). I saw some AGS info that is designed mechanic and in my opinion it is fine, nothing op based on current int builds (hitscan is op).

Surely is not OP, let’s say u do 1.000 DMG, adding 20% elemental conversion stone u should do 800 + 200 elemental, not higher. And it does higher.
Check the rest 30%, 40% or 50% u will see the 1.000 DMG is split normal 700+300elemental and so on. The only exception are 20% elemental stones.

it gives more depending on attributes scaling, ennemies. For example pure int weapon scales x1 so from T4 gems up you’ll lose damage. Only T2&T3 gives more.

there is mixed information here. It doesn’t provide more damage in ALL scenarios.

276 foc 155 con
tested light attacks with amber in GA on target dummy. obviously enemies with weakness to nature (corrupted) or slash (AE) will skew results.

T2: 446 slash 407 ele
T3: 434 slash 469 ele
T4: 372 slash 531 ele
T5: 403 slash 772 ele

That 200% is only for the Aquamarine Gem the rest are all 160 like with Focus.

t2 gem scaling only works if you have 150 int minimum and its slotted on an int weapon or else you aren’t getting a large enough bonus to benefit vs something like an opal. No melee slots a t2 int gem.

Anything regards int weps in general AGS will gladly nerf it

T2 gem is the last thing anyone should be worried about.

People are forgetting that you cant upgrade the t2 Gems with a Runeglass, so they are not worth it anymore. Also the T2 doesnt provide extra Damage to a lot of AOE Abilitys lke Ice Storm etc.

since runeglass came out ppl move on

Yeah… for sure FS fault x)

Friendly reminder that a 500 INT FS with the 20% elemental damage “exploit” still does less damage than an ungemmed 300 STR GA.
