When will Windows 11 be supported?

I sent a bug report about crashing, but the answer from the dev team was the recommended system reqs and this:

Windows 11 is not supported at this time, we cannot guarantee stable performance. Thank you!

Is that it? Or will the crashes be looked into?

Is it deemed that the crashes are caused by Win11 or were they not looked into because of the platform?

Would be nice to know that something is being done to make it compatible if the cause is indeed Win11.

I’m not going to roll back to Windows 10 and will just deal with the crashes, however, I think it should be made much clearer that Windows 11 is not supported, as it doesn’t state it specifically.

I can use a different PC that has Windows 10 on it, so I’m not super bothered, however just having “Recommended Windows 10” doesn’t mean “Windows 10 Required”

Having the system requirements updated to reflect that would be nice.

I use Win 11 & have had zero crashes - Have you checked everything else is stable i.e drivers etc & that Win 11 is up to date

I also have no problem with window 11

Yeah, everything is up to date, I did the integrity check and everything.

Here’s what the crash log says is happening:

I found another thread where some people had the same problem but doesn’t look like it was resolved

Upgraded to win11 and the game is running the same as with win10

I found some people on reddit with the same issue, will try what they said is a fix:

right clicked on the real NewWorldLauncher and clicked properties
clicked the Compatibility tab and checked the box that said “Run this as an administrator”.
launched the game from the folder and not steam
