FFXIV has cute characters, sex appeal, cute pets, fun emotes, fun events, a better quality store.

I wish New World had more cuteness, but it’s really lacking in this area.

Basically, New World excels in harvesting and combat, but is lacking in almost every other area, and the road map tells me, it’s going to be many years before NW catches up to what the other games had at their launches, which is a shame as I really want to love New World, there’s just not enough to do.

If they just had more endgame content, New World would be far more bustling a community.

Yes both FFXIV / WOW are brilliant mmos
they’ve polished FFXIV / WOW for over 10 years
NW still has time to prove itself, emmm, if ags thinks so…

World building - GW2 - if this was more dense graphically wise, but still, its good

I’ve played most mmos and continue to play a few on and off including wow, ff14, gw2, eso etc. Not played bdo as not my kind of mmo but graphically looks nice and combat looks fluid.

Just adding a few areas where gw2 excels tbh.

GW2 is also brilliant, but its graphical performance is a bit out-dated, not my type
I just purchased ESO, and expect what kind of shock this long-live mmo would bring to me

Let’s not limit ourselves to 2-3 mmorpg, some niche games have very good ideas, no one knows and sees it just because their advertising budget is very low

If they have no advertising budget, how do they have budget to run the game, keep employees, etc… I’m not sure that makes a lot of sense from a business stand point in the real world.

While I do like cute characters, that is not the setting of this MMO. Did you watch and play the introduction?

Also, I agree that some other MMOs have better implementations in areas than this MMO; this is the MMO that you are playing and not those.

All, please feel free to build your great MMO (or PVP World) using either Unity or Unreal. And be sure to invite us so that we can make suggestions.

Seriouly? When i think of combat WoW and ffxiv come to your mind. How about BDO? By far the best combat in any MMO out there. Non of them comeb close.

I liked your post till you wrote bout that cuteness shit, it’s one of the biggest turnoffs with FFXIV for me.
Freaking ERP base full of cringelords.
The game is fantastic, but the appeal to casuals really went overboard.
Thank god they do have actually (probably too) hard content with cool stuff tho
