AGS how GS skills keep dmg and staggers?
You nerfed every single skill in multiple weapons that had both. Some lost staggers, some dmg.
How the hell GS kept all? All staggers and all dmg + other utilities? How this weapon can have so much utilities and great dmg on same skills? You serious or just lead devs swap GA to GS so they nerfed GA/WH. So now they can play GS no problems?

remove dmg from 2nd block keep stagger - or other way around
Steadfist strike:
reduce dmg first hit to like 10% max it has tons of dmg on other parts and pull on top of that. wtf ags?

So 3 stagges on 6 skills on single weapon. And all of them have good to great dmg + more utility build in.
So fix this or restore old dmg/staggers and add more stagger/utility to weapons like fs, ig.
The tracking on the GS heavy was reduced, which was a major source of the GS damage.
Your FS/BB or FS/IG builds are going to be good. No need to get any possible melee counter nerfed. You will kill the GS player in onslaught stance very quickly.
Steadfast Strike’s first attack damage reduced from 70% to 40%.
Skyward Slash’s first attack damage reduced from 80% to 50%.
Tuned Primary and Heavy attack homing to be consistent with other melee weapons.
Giant Slayer - Updated tooltip to be more clear on the target needed to be above 90% health and not self.
Path Of Onslaught Quick Charge Bonus - Increased the time it takes to charge a heavy attack while in the Path Of Onslaught stance to be only 50% faster instead of twice as fast.
Crosscut - Increase cooldown from 15s to 20s.
Relentless Rush, Adaptive Rush Upgrade - Reduce the root from 1s to 0.5s.
Giant Slayer Passive - Reduce damage from 20% to 15%.
Swift Onslaught Passive - Changed activation condition to trigger off of ability hits and not ability activations.
Fixed issue where the Greatsword Relentless Rush and Skyward slash abilities would apply their effects through blocks.
Apparently Relentless Rush’s root on PTR still does not allow dodge in root, but the litany of changes and bugfixes proposed in the notes are pretty good (to include the fortify changes which will make GS light users EXTREMELY vulnerable to death).

Seriously the weapon is nerfed to the ground, it is goodbye GS /wave.
And you are asking for more? Clearly, you got traumatized… but give it a rest.
I understand that it is allowed to share idiocies all day as long as you remain polite and courteous, free speech right? but holly smokes you just never rest.
Why do you think combat and balance is as bad as it is now? Even when weapons are nerfed and mage weps buffed they are still complaining. When you balance your game around what the average skill players are crying about on the forums this what you get.
S&S will have two staggers post patch and a stun (no stag on Reverse Stab).
WH has Stun, two knockdowns, and a huge, wide range stagger.
Spear will have two knockdowns and a stun (Perforate no longer staggers).
GS is alright so long as the Skyward Slash and Steadfast Strike homing is not allowed to remain insane. Calamity Counter is a fine ability, is needed for close quarters combat and is an effective reflect. Relentless Rush hitbox and the root bug are what gets things f’ed up. For some reason they keep nerfing Crosscut which is a bad direction.
Yea but both: ss and wh skills that have cc/staggers - dmg was nerfed hard. But i forgot that i nact they also nerfed some gs skills that have staggers. Just im not sure its enough.
Other weapons just had dmg+stagger. GS have dmg+stagger+other utilitity.
If the tweaks to homing are enough, the weapon will def feel nice to play against instead of it feeling like an arduous struggle every time. The fortify changes will expose light GS users in a really bad way. Along with that, the Swift Onslaught passive change is huge since GS users will not be able to check swing with Skyward Slash to get the Haste and Onslaught stance which typically spells doom especially once they catch you in a Relentless Rush root.
Weapon still will be to strong. It has to much utility. And range of GS skills is insane. Nothing was change regarding that. You can still cover 10m range with skill that does tons of dmg. But we will see.

in fact to make up for saying nonsense, you just tell us that the others weapons you don’t play should be useless and have no chance to compete with what you play?
He plays firestaff and he thinks it’s the worst weapon in the game and can’t win a 1v1 vs any match up. Which is false. Fs gets decent buffs and gs gets a lot of nerfs and he thinks it’s not enough even still.
Dude its from devs that they dont want single skills to do lot of dmg and have stagers. Dunno why they talked about staggers only and not utility in general. But whatever.
GS is fine pre patch, people have literally stopped dying to it directly because they know how to dodge it, it will be even more niche now after the patches, hopefully near parity with spear. I think your only struggling when you don’t have a pocket healer in OPR and bc your a light mage… Unfortunately we need to be balancing around group pvp with healers present and honestly the GS is out fragged by about 30+ kills by bows in wars so I wouldn’t say it needs to gutting at all.
But AGS is not going to nerf it, it’s the last weapon they added, so it will keep it strong at least until they get a new weapon, this happens in all mmorpgs (it’s a horrible practice of mmorpgs, you lose the desire to play)
How you dodge skills that have few m range. Some of the are 2-3 attacks in one. On top of insane homing and range of auto attacks? What bouild u play that does have 1k stamina?
