Couse GS is boring. Weapon requires way less manual skill to be very effective with it than almost any other weapon in game.
You have so much stuff build into the weapon on top of crazy op homing and leaping and dmg that you canât be super bad with it.
BB has strong side - aka burst, but nothing much above that. Some cc like slow and knock down. Nothing special. You want to comapre gs vs bb utilies, be my guest. Please list all utilies weapon have and compare with GS.
After you dont go list all FS utilies and copare to GS. If you dont, stop crying that im poiting out why exaclty weapon is busted.
easiest weapon to play? what about a weapon that does huge damage and AOE at a distance? the weapon that easily makes top ranking. a weapon that also has skill without any talent that hits on its own at a good range, being able to follow a target that is running, without a CD? you probably forgot about how easy it is to use an FS, how easy it is to kill targets with it, and do heavy damage. itâs super simple, aim the clump with your fireballs without taking risks, aim from afar at targets that your allies will kill, use your flamethrower to take all the kills with a shooting speed superior to all weapons, use also your number of dots for that, and HOP you will easily top damage, top kill, without even having taken a single risk. so let the powerful melee take risks with a penalty of 15% more damage, in the middle of the clumps.

Yea but i think this nerfs wont bring weapo nto be same lvl as others. Im willing to wait but would bet it wont be enought right now.
Weapon doing crazy dmg is probably ok. Issue is not dmg. Issue is homing, range and utility it does have. Weapon have more that most other builds can provide with 2 weapons.
PS. Yes sry i did confused you with other gS player that was asking BB nerfs and promised provide BB test data. My bad.
the live GS is very strong. she is already nerfed on the PTR. HEAVY ATTACKS will be slower, skills do less damage, some attacks will have less follow on the target. less powerful stagger, haste only if you hit a target. itâs quite a nerf. no need to ask for more believe me. letâs not forget that the GS is already a weapon that can be very punitive. you have a penalty of 15% damage in offensive mode. the problem as I often said is not the GS, but the WH and GA on the ptr. you want more melee build, and you want to nerf GS more to be at GA/wh level, that doesnât make sense. always nerves down. underrepresented weapons. it will kill the game.
I dont think this nerfs will bring it to others weapons lvl. But as i said. We will see.
And weapon is differennt that GA. Even old GA that was a broken weapon was not even close to what live GS is.
So nerfs we have on PTR will maybe bring GS to old GA lvl. That is still very broken.
That sounds more like you are upset you canât stance dance effectively, and thus want it nerfed for those that can. I am betting you are one of those I see using the GS that go into onslaught stance, and then get blown up taking one on the chin trying to face tank.
Switching stances effectivly is some skill true. But stances are not what makes weapon broken. LMB spaming to death is very far away from we can all a skill. And this is how weapon can be played and is played by 9/10 if not more players using it. Its to easy to be effective with it. You dont understand enemy build, own build or game mechanics. You can smash skill buttons and LMB and u will kill here and there no problem.
I have friend that pick up game again after playing 300h after release. He is like 560gs and we played opr and arena couse it does scale him to 600GS so its fine to check game feeling. And he had 2 âf⌠thatâ moments so far: opr when in first game we were stomped by other team will of premades and healers.
Second was when he met GS on arena. He is playing bow/rapier and i dont see him sticking with game. He had fun when we fight on arena all except: GS and teams with healer. Other bows, assasisng with ss/hatchet, mages. All builds were fun for him except GS that is jsut broken.
And i can imagine other players that did or will pick up game after longer break might have same reaction.
therefore, you donât like melee weapons that use their left click. you donât like GS players who use their skills? you want melee players to play with different weapons but you want them to nerf them all. basically you donât like melee?

But i donât mind mele being in game lol. Mele is needed.
I just dont like GS in current shape couse its broken. And mele slow not having any optio nto go get out when hatchet or ss does left click. Its also broken.
But thats all when my issue with mele weapons builds.
I mean i would be hard to type using hatchet.
And weapon is used. But on assasin builds. Its very strong weapon. 3rd best dps from all mele weapons after ss and gs.
New player has trouble learning to evade a gs with a rapier and bow. I will not even say it as itâs obvious.
As for left click⌠considering all weapons are 3 skills, and a whole lot of left click itâs an excuse for I died to insert any weapon in the game nerf please.
Iâll admit that GS is a fun weapon and it is very much broken (pre nerfs), everyone knew how broken it was and expected a lot of nerfs being done to it. That being said, when you combine the best parts from SnS, Hammer and spear and turn it into one weapon, itâs obvious that itâs going to be very overpowered, and really when you design a weapon like that itâs hard for it not to feel strong, no matter how many nerfs it gets.
Yes, itâs nice that you can tank and dps with it, but the fact that it has so much utility and itâs the highest dps weapon in the game is a bit much. I wouldnât worry too much though, if itâs not brought into the same levels as other weapons in this balance update, then in three monthsâ time it will be with the next balance update, if not sooner.
People need to understand that we are getting regular balance changes now, so things will be buffed and nerfed every 3 months, till things are balanced correctly. That being said different weapons counter different weapons so if you are faced against a weapon that is a strong counter to your weapons then no matter what itâs going to seem overly strong.
You can ask top bow players on ur sever about their opinion about GS. All i know say its broken. But maybe few top bow players on barri i know are just bad.
As a bow main I disagree. Having asked other bow mains none of them whined about gs. The only complaints I heard was about a few bow changes on the ptr which was to be expected.
