As a potentially returning player, thanks to youtube videos giving stupid speculative dates of oct 4, Iām interested in playing now and I would like enough time to level up and do the halloween event and brimstone after leveling again, since thatās what the youtube big mouths basically said weād be doing. Iām excited about trying all of it, because thatās what is all over the internet as new. FRESH START + HALLOWEEN EVENT + BRIMSTONE is what brought me back to the forums. Youtubers saying that weād probably be playing oct 4, lots of time to level and still get to the halloween event and then brimstone sands.
I can only speak for myself, but if fresh start servers launched say a month from now, after all the hype was over, I wouldnāt be interested in playing any more. None of which is AGS fault. YouTubers need to learn to keep their mouths shut until they have actual info.

If they said āthis weekā yesterday, I assume that means it wonāt be today. Iām guessing we will get something tomorrow stating they are discussing it and will have more information next week.
To be fair, the YouTubers (at least the ones I watch) are saying up front there is no official news, BUT they have speculation as to when it will happen based off information in the code that has been decompiled. Itās not absolute, but itās a more than intelligent assumption.

I completely disagree with this. I think it would be much better to have the current playing community decide if they want to stick with their server and do the new Brimstone content or play on the Fresh Start servers. This way the Fresh Start servers have a better chance of having new guilds own territories and not have current guilds roll on the new servers and grab as much territory as they can.
Didnāt Demone come back though after quitting for a good number of months? From what I have gathered, he came back to the game because of Brimstone Sands and then found out that Fresh Start servers would be happening. As a returning player, even with a level 60, heās going on the Fresh Start servers. Iām not a streamer but Iām doing the same thing. Iāve come back to the game after like 8 months away and will reroll on the Fresh Start servers with some friends who want to experience the new 1-25 content and see whatās happened in the game.
I came back after 5 months imo not so manu changes, combat is much better, after reaching 600 GS game is extremly easy and they made it just even more easierā¦ becoming really tedious after 3-5 weeks. Only fun is arena and OPR, gathering still the most toxic content ever, dont need entries for expedition and youdrop much more useful gear parts which already became worthless like resilent + skill perksā¦ About new servers is worth to play there to check revamped zone, but after 25 lvl nothing changed. Cities will be owned in first days by current mega companies from legacy servers. Veterans with 1k hours will just rush for 625 GS( like me) rest will ā enjoy the contentā like new players used to and probably will hit the wallā¦
