I understood from the patch notes that there is a solo quest to do that allows you to skip the Expeditions. I would like to do the one for Dynasty but I dont know how to get it. Or, if it actually works.

I was able to do it, you place bombs around the shipyard and kill some peeeps…but I wish the depths had a solo option? That was the only one I found I couldn’t see an option for yet (alt accounts leveling fyi).
But where did you pick up the quest ?
It was just part of the MSQ pinned quest. It had a solo or group option. I don’t remember where the quest was picked up. Probably this one: Saboteur - New World Wiki Guide - IGN
The start remains elusive. Went back to Adiana Theron in Edengrove, that is not it. It also is not at the entrance. Adding an inconvenient convenience function seems sub-optimal.

I have the blue quest markers for that, but I’m not seeing anything in my quest logs that relate.
Any idea how many bombs and/or how many kills are needed? Did the quest update on your screen?

But where is this quest marker? location and person please.
It’s not a quest marker as in on the map. When I teleport to the shrine near Dynasty and walk towards where the archway starts (i.e. on the roadway), there’s a box next to the road with the little blue light indicating you can interact with it.
I can place a blight bomb, and it explodes, but nothing happens after that. There are also some of those “blue interact lights” along the docks, and there’s more if you continue further along the beach (heading left when facing the water).
I’ve done the whole circuit about four times (5 bombs all up at a guess), and I haven’t had a hidden quest pop up, and none of my quests change.
My quests for Dynasty say “Venture into Dynasty Shipyard,” and I can’t figure out how to trigger the solo quest. I’ve tried talking to Adiana in Edengrove, Zhou Taiying in Ebonscale Reach, I’ve tried resetting my Dynasty quests multiple times, and nuttin. Nada. Zilch. Zip.
Some clarification from the devs would be super helpful right now as to whether it’s bugged or not. So far, they just say “We’re investigating.”

This is what I was trying to simulate, but no luck for me. I had the Dynasty quests from months ago, not sure if that matters.
This is bugged. Found a response on another thread. Looks like we can’t continue MSQ until they decide to fix it … whenever that will be.

Looks like they fixed it. suddenly a new quest marker showed up at the main girl quest giver (Adiana Therone). I was able to accept it and it sent me to place bombs and kill a number of mobs around the shipyards. Then i did the “motherwell” quest. Now i have moved on to the next quest, sending me to shattered mountain. In shattered mountain I talked to the scout (Bear). He sent me to the Outpost where I got the next level Azoth staff (last one i assume). The person in the Outpost gave me a quest to do the Tempest expedition. No offer of a solo path around Tempest that I see. Maybe the solo option for Tempest is not in (Yet?).

That was also my experience. Only did a few quests and then wham! Now you need to wait for a few more months to continue/end the Isabella story.
I imagine there isn’t a solo option yet with Tempest being the latest expedition.
