This is just going to make the next week or two potentially even more toxic on some/most servers because now the big sweaty companies will just go for total control instead of only caring about the top few and logging off. It’s absolutely foolish to have put forth the income change but not the war change.

lol yep. to get the income now they’ll need control of all territories. these devs are just incompetent
the bother is pushing it half-arsed; making the income change without the war roster change means total dominance is required to get the same income… so all these returning players are coming back to a game in an even worse state then it has been the past few months… the community management here is just fantastically short sighted and incompetent. Returning players are fickle, they’ll blast through the PvE content in this patch FAST, and then see that PvP is gatekept by one company… and quit again.

It feels like they gave more incentive to 1 or 2 big companies to take over the map to get max profit and create as many shells as required (up to 11(11 territories))

They are referencing that the download only was 38GB but they aren’t taking into account whats being wrote on the hard drive after the download on the steam update

Difference in damage dealt and received between 600 vanilla and 625 with full ward/trophies/experience in PvE is far greater then difference in PvP between 600 & 625
makes me sad the war changes aren’t in this update. lots of companies have straight up moved servers in preparation for this one change, only to be let down last minute by miscommunication.
And that’s a system that can be entirely overcome by mediocre grinding. You can max out a character without ever stepping foot into a mutator, just by doing daily chores like mining and picking flowers. You don’t even need to be PvP flagged. On top of that, they made all the PvE mobs dramatically easier.
At no point is a player ever required to be better at the game. All character progression, zero player progression.
Every time AGS tries to lower the bar for their inept playerbase, the playerbase proves that it’ll never be enough.

You can also max your PvP character without having one single fight
Remember PvP tracks/salt b.s before change …100’s of people in Cleave all flagged …0 fights
Both sets of players will always choose easier path forward

The rewards included. Which is fine, I’ve always hated the loot distribution in this game. Would have much preferred more of a focus on dropping materials and crafting and a few notable drops here and there.
Just seems like AGS is trying to remove depth from the gameplay across the board.
