Plz, plz launch the summer update…before we lose even more players! No one is on the PTR testing it, its about as good as it will get. Should have jus run the XP event till the update was ready to go live.
Jus my opinion, with 4300hrs even I’m getting bored. Keep up the good work AGS.
we probably won’t see it for another 2-3 weeks honestly. Most of the updates have come at the end of the month.
No, there are still plenty of bugs that need to be addressed before it is released to live. They still need to confirm if the removal of the split stat buff is permanent or they’re rebalancing it. The crashing from group finder also needs to be addressed, even if it doesn’t come with the event to live, there’s still a potential that it could cause some backend issues or troubles in the code. They’d have to make a completely separate build which doesn’t seem like is the case with how this build has been applied to the PTR. Then again who knows, regardless we still have weeks before a major update happens.
4300 hours? Bro thats 6 months of playing non stop and this game came out like 8 or 9 months ago. Actual cap or u have no life ![]()

but anyway the update is definitely not ready, its coming by the end of the month
I thought they hinted that the content in the PTR might roll out in pieces. We might see the summer event and music earlier, then the expedition and group finder after that. The summer event and music skill likely ready soon. The group finder on the other hand seems to be having many issues.
Im pretty sure they meant the ptr is getting content rolled out over time to make sure everything gets tested, not the live game. The live game will get everything at once as always.
I hope so! I want to play this event relax and chill without big patch.
The PTR system is just bad.
So you want them to not test anything? ![]()
They need to allow people to import characters from live to PTR…
They need way more robust tools for testing. First among them, character copy. They also need something closer to God mode to get the gear your want to test accurately (especially in a new build with tons of gear changes).
They also need to incentivize testing (the above tools would help some). Most games have larger, content rich patches. And longer between them. So people are more excited to check them out.
Most people now just check out the changes and then go back to live.
last week of July, very likely.
