im very lost in my gear. i like to do both pve and pvp so before i upgrade super specific weapons id like to upgrade a generalistic one.
theres a GS in my server with abys attunement and trenchant strikes for 20k idk if thats too expensive
any advices please? 
You can’t go wrong with trenchant strikes+attunement on Greatsword. It works great in both PvP and PvE. I would pay 20k for that and upgrade it. But I have weaponsmithing so I crafted my own instead and got lucky.
Vicious/attunement/keenly jagged is what I use on hatchet when I play this build for PvP.
You could go for Bloodsucker

Bloodsucker is overrated, lifesteal is overrated. You will be better of with Tren.rec sword with attunement etc. There are so many better swords to get to 625, I regret getting it to 625. Lifesteal as a perk itself feels really underwhelming.
Now that you mention it, perhaps your right. Any good named GS?
I feel like I don’t LMB enough with hatchet when I use it with greatsword for enchanted to be better than vicious. I have a enchanted/att/jagged version which I use with spear.
is epic weapon so only those 2 attunements

Dont waste your time/shards on 2 perk epic weapons that don’t get 3-rd perk. 20k for epic weapon? - NO

perhaps Practiced Blows - Item - New World Database - solid GS for anything, still get crosscut for lifestealing.
Heavy Rend - Item - New World Database - solid double damage perk GS but cant be “focus farmed”, perhaps it changes in near future once they move those drops back to bosses.
Dogstar's Tooth - Item - New World Database - another double damage perk GS, also has “lifesteal” but it has 2x damage perks that really make it interesting.
Blackguard's Greatsword - Item - New World Database - if you dont know what do go… nearly all blackguard weapons are solid starter 625 weapons.
Its not that bloodsucker is a bad sword but its just not as good as people make it out to be. Its a solid one but I would not go above 600 with Bloodsucker.
What third perk would he be able to afford then?

Upgrading a purple Trenchant Strikes/Attunement is just fine if you are making a new build since you also need to invest in the other gear pieces as well.
I would not waste shards on upgrading 2 perk epic up to 625. If you struggle with coin for new build 590+ 2 perk is ok to use, but i would not upgrade it nor buy it for 20k of the market. I would filter the market for main perk im looking for at @600GS and buy legendary 3 perk one with main perk + attunement + third semi useful perk. 20k is a good stack of coin, perhaps for not 3/3 BIS but you can get a decent 2/3 perk GS600 sword for it on any server in couple of days checking the market.
When you can’t find perfect GS at market in reasonable price range, there are open world named swords that can be farmed way faster than 20k on 2 perk epic weapon.
Its all up for any individual. Thats just how I would approach this, I’m not saying other opinions would be wrong.
Att and thwarting strikes for STR build it’s very good weapon, upgrade it to 625, 20k it’s overprice but if I need it I would buy it gold in this game is anyway very easy to get… I just do scarabs run, while qing for oprs and arenas. Dont listen to those cheap guys, buy 2 perk gear pvp gear and upgrade it to 623 for extra stat. Meanwhile save gold for better items, craft gypsum casts every day for 376-400 shards per cast. You will have nothing to with them anyway after 2-3 weeks…
Hybris isn’t available right now, still in PTR normally, but definitely a solid choice

Bloodsucker maybe a Legendary, but an epic GS with Trenchant Recovery & Leeching Crosscut is way better! I personally don’t upgrade to 625. 615 or 620 is enough for beginning.
Remember you have to upgrade min. 4 sets of armor at least.
