We already know firestaff will be the new OPR meta. The majority will walk around with the zero skill required flamethrower. It’s as lame as the current lobbies full of “bows” standing stationary outside fort the whole match and missing all their shots. Lotta new games coming out. Which ones will you be moving on to?

I’m not sure I’ll make it to the new update. Due to leaderboards I’m being treated horribly by people left and right so tbh I’m tempted to just go play a single player game. Maybe I’ll try this Hogwarts Legacy thing. Oh and I’ve still got Cyberpunk to play.
At least there I won’t be punished just because I enjoy playing with a hammer, I won’t lose my bank trying to craft a DECENT item (2 good perks and something usable for a 3rd) and hopefully there’s also basic level stuff like no animation locking, good signaling of a boss’s different attacks.

The changes to the fire staff make it useful for wars, but in PVP (not mass) terms the changes are boring.
As you say, they didn’t nerf the flamethrower, and instead the Nerf came to INCINERATE, I don’t understand who makes these decisions, they nerf an ability that nobody complains about, and the flamethrower that everyone knows is broken, they don’t touch

Unfortunately it’s the only consistent pvp game mode. 3s don’t pop as much and you can’t war all day.

I started playing it recently. Lotta fun!
Yeah I get that, I PVE a lot. but I’m not proud of the things that I would do to get some more PVP modes…

I’ll stick around and give it a go 
now that strength weapons have had grit and cc dialed back I might finally be allowed to input key commands from my keyboard 
but if they still chain stager / stun me to death I’ll just go play league of legends👍

Apparently the patch will arrive late.
Today I checked that the peak of players reached only 19000, 3k less than 2 or 3 weeks ago

4000 hours in so far, all farming iron and hitting wolves.
Never been in a war yet & nobody wants me in their company but I’m going to stick with it no matter what! Maybe one day I will be allowed to pvp

I find PvP too physically and mentally difficult I prefer to stick to my wolves and trees
