While We're Talking About Weapon Changes, Can We Talk About the Absolute Crutch That Rapier Is

The bow is paired with the rapier giving it perma kite ability
Ive watched bow rapier outrun experienced firestraff rapier users previously thought to be one of the most mobile builds int eh game

Then the issue is the rapier not the bow you clown.

If my head is in my ass, logically speaking I couldn’t see my “chode”. Idiot, you’re crying about the mobility of it being paired together. Just get good and learn to stun and CC better g! Not wasting my time on a GA user trying to use other builds and getting shit on.

i mean i do think the kit of the rapier is a bit much . gap close + high dmg+ a stun (cc) .
the only drawback it has is range , i think it should lose the cc as well .

@Halcyon nothing is 100% original anymore , write anything down , and you can find a bunch of
things that match it , no really give me 3 abilities for an axe , that are not in any game yet?

Challenge accepted:

  • Slashy Pain Axe Time
  • “Where’d my leg go?”
  • Heavy Swingy Ouch

3 totally unique (im sure) axe ability names. You’re welcome.

abilities not names . what do those do ? which no axe in a game could do before ?

why do you troll like this…

Well, clearly the first one slashes with like… pain… second one probably cuts a leg or two off, third probably causes big ouch with a heavy.

right…well you proven my point .

First of all, cap or your build is horrible.

Secondly, throwing hatchets are the hardest thing to use in this game you can’t change my mind.

Throwing a life staff is harder.

Throwing a hatchet is hard, lmao. But i was stating the way he was talking he wanted the bows dmg to be nerfed to what he seems to think would be fair. Im hititng lights for half of their hp if not more if i land a heavy attack.

So…

  1. Maelstrom
  2. Reap with the crippling perk
  3. Execute.

Y’all need a sense of humour  you seriously think:

Is serious? oof

Bow is easier than mage? Are you really saying that?

Like they do when melees miss they skills and LMB? Oh wait you still move ahead while hitting the air :open_mouth:

have you swung a gaxe lately? XD

The rapier is indeed very powerful if specced right. Still requires more skill than any of my other previous builds that were also powerful if specced right. I’m pretty confident that, as powerful as it is, if I got into a 1vx with it in PVP I’d get smashed because I haven’t practiced it yet. Learning it versus NPCs required quite a bit of practice but they’re mostly predictable. Versus players… I think the skill cap is so much higher that it deserves to be powerful.

It’s not as though just using evade gives you anything special unless you then utilise its benefits fully. Same with riposte.

I’m not convinced it needs to be nerfed, despite it enabling me to do a ton of stuff I couldn’t do with my other builds. Mainly because there’s quite a bit of stuff that I can’t do as well now. And if I mess up, I’m glass.

This is the point.

I chase the guy when I finally get him, he rispote, and run, dodge, dodge, run, run, dodge, run dodge, run, run, dodge, dodge, riposte, dodge.

The cooldown should be increased to 18 at least.

Riposte needs a bigger cooldown, like 20 seconds, it’s not ok right now.
Look at Shield Bash, it has a 25 seconds cooldown, meanwhile Riposte has 12 seconds, negates damage, makes unstopable buff for 3 seconds, applies 14% Rend for 10 seconds with perk and stuns for 2.5 seconds if landed.

Against bow is even worse because of that 20% movespeed after Dodge.
Dodge > Dodge > Dodge >Evade Shot > Dodge > Dodge > Dodge > Fleche > Dodge > Dodge > Dodge > Riposte. Rinse and repeat.
