Before someone writes to me that this is an MMO and not a single player game, read this.
Apart from the posts you can’t do anything from the final content solo. I can’t get GS solo because elites are for at least 5 people. Searching in chat which is constantly not working and I have to reset the game is not cool. Additionally there is no place to post because there are no subcategories and on my server people are reluctant to search because they fly in guilds. Searching for people on a closed chat for dungeons is also difficult. The best dungeons are people who take their own or for money. As a solo player I am forced to grind resources or make posts. I would like to have a normal watermark option when playing solo or with a friend. Or get some content for solo player so there is something to do.
You honestly can’t expect a lot of solo content in a newly launched MMO. That is something that develops with time.
That’s coming from someone very critical of this game’s state. Seriously, even FFXIV 2.0 took years to introduce Golden Saucer mini-games, PotD, and the like. You’re asking for content that comes much later in an MMO’s lifecycle, meant to placate bored players.
I get it, but group stuff is hard to do with someone through broken in-game chat. I would at least like to have a party finder for Dungeons or Elites. And not writing in the chat as it obviously works and being flooded with lots of sales messages.
I’ve just heard that they’ve changed getting solo chests by changing their locations. There is a problem with groups because my server is not very populated and in hours when I play there are few people.
Well I have to say from my point of view I totally agree. I leveled slowly enjoying the graphics and was in no rush, or so I thought. Now my 2 sons and wife have all quit the game because it became so difficult. (Yes I know this will be flamed with people who maxed early saying it isn’t so that’s ok.)
Crafting is much harder now. Took over my son’s level 40 healer and got trashed, with a group, doing level 35 elite content which is silly. My character is lvl 60 and I have not too many difficulties but some areas are just stupid.
Malevolence for instance I went to with a group and only way to kill the boss was to cheese it into a corner of another area because he was surrounded by 8-10 mobs which is all ok except that I think 4 of them are esprits which now have so much health it takes even a geared group several minutes of beating on just one of them to kill one. Just overkill with 4 of these, a boss, and 4 archers all beating on you. Genesis and Lazarus are so bad now nobody on my server will even try. Ask about a group for one of those you will get “good luck with that” and that’s it. Have not heard of even one successful run since the patch.
For those of you that are all godly or whatever and say you can easily do all these things congrats but I cannot and I am pretty well geared aroiund 576 gs with 590+ weapons depending which I use.
