The Items are being Duped by an exploit which is being caused by server side lag which is the direct cause of Poor server stability from a server merge.
Poor coding is a Dev issue not a player issue.

As the responsible, I’d quit the job at AGS and ask to hire someone who knows what he is doing. One robbery might be a mistake. Two are incompetence or ignorance or both.

That was the whole purpose of not allowing transfers from old servers to FSS. To “enjoy a fresh start” by not carrying over gold, gears, etc. They even revamp entire settlements and quest. Were you not paying attention.
I doubt the test team play on servers that fully match the live game.
They likely have zero lag as well.
And they don’t play arena more than once a day

“Enjoy a fresh start” is literally just that… a fresh start with other players from 0. There was no guarantee there wouldn’t be any future exploits or dupes.
I know they revamped the starting areas, played the game and followed updates since Nov’21.
Yeah never said there were no future exploits i said it was supposed to be free of it. What are you trying to get at here? The whole purpose was they tested it through PTR, and crested FSS and this bypassed their eyes. People who went to FSS were so proud a week ago for having no dupes/exploits. Look at them now.

Yeah I think bashing devs for their one time $40 game that produces new content for no additional charge is sort of silly. Screw the dupers and exploiters.
We are mad because the game concept lure us to waste our money.
Tell me why, if I wanna be good at PvP aka get meta gear asap, do have to get 3 copies of the game and let 2 get banned.
One copy to dupe.
One copy for resetting item IDs like money laundering.
And the normal copy to play the game.
2 copies every time the meta changes.

An mmo it’s a complex system to be coded with many variables, it’s not an easy job, therefore there are many things to be considered.
It’s easy to blame the devs without knowing the amount of work they’ve already put into it, on top of that they have to work with the peoples complains , which happens because a percentage of the peoples are hard to please.
I don’t blame them, they are doing what they can to make it work, there are just too many peoples whining about things because the game is not in tune with their “vision”.
Blaming is easy, trying to help with constructive remarks it’s another thing, stop whining peoples, stop blaming the devs and start bring in solutions , that will make the game grow. 
i mean… i think most people wanted the fresh start because the best part of new world had always been the 1-60 grind. an with how they revamped the leveling an early experience it was a lot of fun to start over an see new world with fresh eyes all over again. I think most people expected their to be something to happen at some point but were excited to play a game they enjoyed all over again regardless until then. Now the cycle will continue, a lot of people will leave. few people will stay an keep the game going until the next big thing is added to the game and people come back an it repeats.

A lot of new and returning players may also not remember how much better AGS got at bans. A dupe like this is going to be detected and the accounts are probably going to be perma banned. I wouldn’t try my luck, better to report it and move on, bis gear is worthless on a banned account.
Mad at devs because they don’t test things. They should have a qa group who specialized in trying to dupe things every which way they can. Hire the dupers if you have to. It keeps happening… so make changes to testing and regression testing
They constantly break things and don’t catch the issue… like life staff circles deleting each other… very easy to test, has happened in the past so if you are touching how they interact test it every which way…
To me it seems like the program the change… throw a spell and call it good for release… they suck at this.
Also hate the FSS nerds who complained about legacy serve dupes raining the whole game and that FSS was going to pure and now dupes… it was inevitable and is not a reason to leave a game.

The problem is time, not the solution or cause etc its how much time they take when they have infinite amounts of money to hire people to fix the problems.
They could easily ask some devs from another part of amazon to chip in an help comb the database. or they could code more automated solutions to auto find and ban these people.
They found the exploit and pulled the stop gap, great, but why the heck is it taking so long to clear out the backlog? How long was it on until their alerts found it what are they doing to make their alerts act faster? Why have they still not put in a feature that once someone is reported they need to complete a captcha at random times, and if they fail are immeaditly logged out and flagged for human review?
The problem is IT IS AMAZON a multi BILLION dollar company. That loves to invest money in failing endeavours so there is no excuse that they don’t have the resources they need to fix any issue in less than a day. They hurt way more people with how long this has lasted than avoided money loss.
Time to Fix vs Impact on Experience, so freaking what if I can get runic leather for 10 cents, the economy shouldnt be such a big deal, priorities. They have billionares still on the server a bot influecned economy helps everyone really expect for when you want to go farm the things yourself
