Void blade is still lmb based and has clear timings for damage to be dodged. Flamethower has a 6 meter range, and does not force you to be in melee range to get hit with stuns.
Is not omg how can somebody get to this answer wtf I would accept it if it was like first month of the game where wars were pictures battles but man the game right now is not that bad on desync, in every game multiplayer with crazy cámara turns I see desync is something really common since also a lot of people don’t have perfect internet connection plus also the server they playing on, this isn’t the main problem on why players left the game lol
Yes it is. I have a consistent 50ms ping on New World, I should not experience desync to this extreme. Name one other online game with comparable desync when your connection is good.
Also, do you play melee? Try a mobile melee build and tell me desync isnt a problem.
New world uses a proprietary game engine - Lumberyard. I suspect this is where the issue lies

Then I don’t know how you are not experiencing desync. Its so bad, ive had several fights where both the opponent and myself just stopped fighting because nothing registers, we are both attacking patches of air next to each other, and skills/bar swaps going off 3-5 seconds later.
the game is almost 1 year old and still ranged/dex builds are OP XD the only reason to play melee is go full heavy with cc abilities and hold the point. Its acctually sad how unplayable the melees are
Is not I play melee medium 300/200 str ga/hatchet and my opr games are pretty good I get 10-20 kills with like 3-5 deaths I guess I’m just above average but is not imposible to play melee you just have to change some weapon abilities and play better
I think that is just a logical excuse.
Yeah there are delays but the community demands answers for thinga that make absolutely no sense with no answer besides “sending feedback to the dev team. Please be patient.”
The game being broken is one thing.
Allowing a community to struggle and survive on the bare minimum isnt how to run a game.
And that is why so many new players are frustrated.

When they released the game this way there is no idolizing time or being prospective with the problem. Cause the devs have made it paibfully clear our concerns dont matter unless it affects their bottom line.

You tell the team behind new world we are tired of promises? Tired of streams that are only one sided conversations? Tired of feeling abandoned in this game just for them to do surprise releases and make it seem like everything is okay?

After the 8 months we spent waiting already passed released their cooperation, understanding, and giving to their audience is completely one sided. And it shouldnt take 10k of the remaining players threatening to leave to implement changes we already asked for since launch.
We asked for pvp content.
Arenas. Dungeon arenas ( where both teams can race to the end). Different maps ATLEAST or give us a randomly generated map we can not be bored of.
Even if this post is about the skills. The real bad decisions come from who ever is enabling the dev team to not talk to the players in real time.
It makes everything seem pointless. Which multiple people have explained in hundreds of posts.
Whenever there is someone finally ready to admit you guys dont listen to your playerbase and hand pick suggestions, thatll be the day we can all be honest and finally trust the devs again.
But again, i cant do all this convincing the game will stabilize on its own with no merits behind it.
Yall need to explicitly and drectly communicate with your audience before you lose everyone trust and faith in the game.
Did 3v3s help? Yes. But that is a band aid on a broken dam.
There should never be a wait for pvp content in a pvp game. Even if it was bare bones and riddled with bugs. You couldve introduced the concept to the main servers.
You guys keep releasing everything in the ptr or having hidden updates. But the main core fans if the game dont wanna play 2nd new world on ptr when they can play on their main with their company.
These decisions to deprive, holdout content due to fear of rejection, having it one sided for specific feedback or doing all these bug testings while still MAKING US go through bugs in the game is ridiculously redundant.
We already have bugged content in the main game. Just release the main pvp ideas into the main game and stop making convoluted excuses that has already destroyed the game before.
You guys can change this arouns if you want to. If you choose to.
But dont keep depriving players of content that can potentially be fun. To test bugs. If they have desperately needed smth to do.
Regardless of bugs or not people played new world. So how is it somehow better a year later yall still wait month to month to release a patch or add anything?
Even once a month. You can do a giant bunny. Turkey. Bison. Litsrally anything big monster related is fine. That could be atleast event worthy once a month.
But when pvp people ask for more content. And you release more pve enviroments or more buffs in gear that only affect a small group of players yall only outcast the hard core players.

ESO. Way worse…just sayin.
Nah, nah, nah. ESO desync even at its worst was never this bad. Even when it absolutely unplayable, it was because there were so much going on in the area with hundreds of players. ESO has way more particle effects, aoe skills, proc sets, etc… going off where NW has basic calculations and 6 skills per player going off on long cooldowns. ESO also spikes your ping when this happnes, NW doesnt effect ping during its desync, its entirely server client communication failure on the server side. NW also has a massive memory leak, way larger then any of ESOs past memory leaks.
NW has huge desync when there is just 3 players in Great Cleave. Great Cleave itself stutters with like 5 player running missions.
Ill shit on ESO devs all day for their past treatment to pvp players and performance during pvp but NW shits the bed even harder when it comes to server performance and desync. Amazon, largest server provider in the world running its games on some home server cluster out of a junkies basement.
Hatchet is one of the worst offenders.
This isn’t true and full heavy isn"t the way.
Imagine complaining about riposte when there’s a skill that allows you to survive death and just run circle until you’re like new. Or a skill with a huge lunge that gives you back all your life while you can pretty much dissolve any melee.
what is not true ? name a melee build that is usefull besides the heavy bruiser to control point or tank the endless ranged players XD
