Why are people poor?

Shrugs oh well

do you understand that im wondering how come we need coins to repairs? im not asking how we use coins to repair… try to understand the sentence.

Well let me simplify things.
Why people are poor? cuz their money management suck.

If they can, why dont you?
They can, I can. Why dont you?

some people have 3 big home active and they pay the taxes without issue,
Or perhaps you are saying why people cant get big money instantly? well this is not pay2win game. you need to give a lot of efforts to make big money.

Already pointed out that it is like in real life. If you cant earn enough money to do your repairs you better NOT have 3 houses…

Gold is literally raining, but there are some common mistakes peoples often make, and the most important one from what I saw is they are definitely not selling what players really need, or at least not the majority of them.

A lot of players assume because there are a lot of level 60 all players are already done with leveling, and then only high-end materials, gears, and so on will sell. This is VERY wrong to assume that. I know this forum doesn’t help as there are a lot of level 60 with 400h showing off or complaining but no all players are not 60, and MANY players doesn’t have their trade skills leveled enough to use high-end materials either which is one of the reason they cost little to nothing yet.

TL;DR: Sell what most players currently need, not what they will need in a few weeks, and you will make much more benefits. You can, and you should by the way, hoard what they will need later instead of selling it for 0.01 gold.

I don’t think I said I was poor…

the people who are poor are those that don’t use the TP wisely, and don’t get into a decent company and don’t run in groups and don’t farm chest runs etc and don’t have sufficient server population to do OPR, invasions, wars etc.

For those (who are the majority, by the way), they find money hard to come by - especially considering how easy it is to die at 60 solo in elites, repairs can quickly wipe out their bank.

Personally I don’t have an issue with money in game. I have three houses, some money in the bank (enough to get by), I go with the chest runs, we own territory, I do wars, invasions (no OPR on my server, too small), but I can understand those that don’t and can see how it can be a real problem for them.

That’s not the issue as there is a ‘finite’ amount of money and trading is just passing it around at a small listing loss. Yes, you can make a lot of money trading ( I have, and spent a fortune too), but everyone cannot do that- as clearly it doesn’t work if everyone did it (think about it).

For small servers and solo players, etc money can be a real struggle at 60. Especially as the TP then becomes not such a good trading platform due to a shortage of buyers.

Me too. I’m only ENG 183, and make plenty of cash just selling good fishing poles with the right perks. Throw in an OPR, the VERY easy 3x faction missions in SM, and selling overstocked gathered mats… I have no issues with money.

I agree. I run around randomly to collect and fight things most of the time. I never have a shortage of gold. I do not even use the market very much.
The key if you have gold issues might be:
find something on your server that is trending high on the market and create a gathering route for it.
do not buy a house so early that you are paying for very little real benefit.
beat the enemy down. they drop coins a few at a time, but it really adds up in the long run.

Because ppl come from theme park mmorpgs where gold is handed to them by selling everything they loot, thus they make money to at least sustain.

Here, you need to work for them and their mindset is too limited and too lazy to do that.

Im sitting on 100k cash,2 houses and getting money by selling gear/weps 580+ that i get from elite farms/dungeons,my server duped a LOOOT of rare and legendary items/resources and its pointless to get money from skilling cuz they cost nothing, the only way i enjoy is kill-loot-sell (my wm is 600 for gear, almost 600 all weapons and forget about wm jewelry its fcing so stupid and rare to receive as a drop).Selling only via Market, hate dealing with ppl.

I even make few Ks only by reseling stuffs which I find while browsing goods for improving my own char  they are really hilarious those losers… I bet that wipe garbage ideas come just from these type of nbs which are too crap to kill anything anymore and got their ego hurt, since here aint no mama to comfort them and no one tells them they are the best, they only get kicked on sight, so they just try to throw it on the dupes…

Having everyone doing it is unlikely to happen in my opinion. Lot of players are doing the same thing on a short time period when a wild youtuber release a video named “THIS INCREDIBLE TIPS WILL HELP YOU TO GROW YOUR … WEALTH” but then players jump to the next one and does not really apply anymore what they learned before, so it leaves some rooms here. Then there is a time factor as well that make it impossible to focus on too many things and trades.

What I wrote in my previous post was just an entry-level advice, there are tons of others ways to play the market, but you need to find some fun doing it and I can totally understand a lot of players find it boring and would rather get more gold by just playing.

I’ll repeat what I said earlier: playing the market does not increase the overall server wealth, it decreases it. It’s literally impossible for everyone to play the market and win (especially considering the listing fee sink).

I’ve done the whole ‘obsess on the market and make billions’ in other games a long time ago (it’s very easy but can be time consuming, and too much like RL) and decided I’d rather tick along and let others play ‘spreadsheet trader mark 43’. Same with running a guild- no interest in having most of my game time taken up with non-fun guild stuff.

Personally i also find if I push too hard on the money side I lose interest in the game as it becomes way too easy to just buy anything rather than make an effort. For me it’s much more fun without sitting on 200k+

I totally understand that part, do whatever that bring you some fun, there are multiple ways to play and enjoy a game after all

5K per day? I am calling BS on that. At least not on a consistent daily basis. competition and market saturation on whatever items you craft would limit your income pretty quickly.

Looks like that scammy videos showing you how to make money working from home.

No idea - pretty easy to make money from a number of areas. Most involves not staying in one place and expecting it to come to you though!

Here’s the main issue i see with this game and its coin cycle.

Playing semi Iron man mode you end up slightly positive doing faction dailies and a couple out post rush or invasions per week, its enough to cover 3 small house taxes, gear fixes, crafting fees from training, and maybe buying a tiny amount off the market.

Playing market mode the best coin/hr activities that are endlessly repeatable are chest farming and raw material farming, and farming is how you get the stuff that you’re buying if you’re playing market mode, which anyone can do LOL. These farming activities will continually drive deflation down to the point that 1-2 outpost rush games an hour is better coin than farming anything. But wait there’s a catch, low pop servers are mostly unable to play out post rush so all they’re left with is invasions which they probably will always get chosen when they wish to play. But we end up with a large disparity between high pop servers who can always rely on outpost rush and low pop servers which will suffer a continuing steady decline in prices of goods with no mechanic that establishes a floor.

It’s more like the opposite lol. Most people think you can go and level through the AH when in reality if you buy leveling mats and you don’t already have a steady gold income, you will be broke in no time…

Bottom line: go out and gather crap yourself

Don’t call bs.

It is actually on the low end amongst people who know what they’re doing…

NW economy is the easiest thing to figure out if you have any experience ( and you’re older than 20 usually).
It flactuates even between morning and evening.

You can put buy orders and just flip mats without doing anything.
You can post on high prices in the evening and be the first to sell when prices drop late at night.
You can buy full mining gear with 400g and mine freeking rocks for slivers
You can go to mourningdale and make 1000g per hour with silk
You can mine iron and sell the ore.

I could go on forever

There is a million things to do. You just don’t know what you’re talking about

you know what? im sick with this population issue, the game provide us with “server transfer” feature which will help that freaking population issue!

If you refuse to leave your current underpopulated server, then the problem is with you and not the game.
