Gathering bots have completely DESTROYED my small server's economy

I don’t often use video game forums, but after seeing my server’s economy go into the gutter over the past few weeks, I felt the need to say something. As the title states, bots have completely destroyed the economy of my small server. There are simply not enough people buying in the auction house to counteract the flood of materials from gathering bots. I have reported the various wood, mote, and iron bots on my server every single day for the past two weeks, and I STILL SEE THE EXACT SAME B…

the person who replied to me earlier told me that was due to the low population on their server. And because of that, they cannot do OPR. thats why i suggest them to transfer server.

When there are mergers on the horizon, I’d hold off on any transfer until you find out where you have been put so You still have the transfer option.

There’s plenty of gold already in circulation too. And you don’t need to do T5 portals, you can do lower ones for azoth. Not being able to run T5 would just mean that expedition keys would sell for astronomical prices.
You keep trying to force the idea that new gold is the only way to make gold (it’s not and generally it’s not ever the best). But for individual players, new gold really does not matter at all. As long as there’s enough gold in circulation and its not all drained on repairs and land upkeep costs (a ‘dead’ server probably won’t have fully upgraded lands that eat 160k/week just for the upkeep), there will be enough gold in circulation to make a living off. You make gold by taking it off other players hands and then you spend that gold yourself in turn - some1 else makes gold from you.
Just the gold from killing mobs is most likely enough to keep the economy turning when the biggest money sinks are not in play (land upkeep and upgrades).

P.S. OR still happens regularly (at least one per day) on a server with 500 pop, btw. Anything below that is pretty much a ‘single-player’ server that’s in sore need of server merge. If economy even was collapsing on those servers (I doubt it), it wouldn’t mean that economy needed fixing - the server population problem is the one to fix. Game is not and should not be balanced around servers with <200 players online, when that was never the goal.

Maybe because when you make gold let’s say 10k and have gold or purple gear and an inventory full of broken gear along with the market always closed down= no gold left just repairing some gear, and getting 1.50 gold to salvage items will not put a dent in it.

Market is closed for 2 days. The fact that you are out of money in 2 days means that you don’t farm in general.

Also the fact that you’ve died a million times in 2 days means you are bad.

I have been doing pve what’s that got to do with eggs? If I cant pick things up or if I do drop something then pick it up then salvage it then re pick my item up what is 0.50 or 1.50 going to do to repair gold items? And farming what’s the point if you have no room you really are the stupid one.

And yes I have died a fair bit the last 3 days because of desync, game hanging up or out rite disconnections constantly, I play well thanks i have no issues soloing elites and have done a couple solo.

One elite killed me a few times yesterday where i would get stuck on a create unable to move then i would get hit then teleport through a wall of a house to be stuck on the ground.

And not to mention drowning a few times while no where near water up the side of a mountain.
Go look in bugs and see me drowning up a mountain and also fishing in the air.
All my deaths apart from a few early on have been through bugs and connections but now that’s cleard up let’s get back to you trying to be smart.

I obviously have good gear but I am equipped with repair kits so I don’t spent 400g for each repair but rather 40g.

Why don’t you just admit that you have absolutely no fucking clue what repair kits do?
It is probably the first time you even hear about these things and instead of saying " oh damn you are right i will use these in the future" you keep on arguing.

I know what repair kits are and use them when I have them or when the market is open. When it’s not then what your 10k per day wont cover even a full set.

When i reached lvl 60 weeks ago i remember to have 34k gold.
Now i have 57k.

No one of my frofessions are above 150… All are around 100 tbh.

My gold comes from selling armors/weapons on action house (actually at 540 wm, so not need to be high), outpost rush and some expeditions…

I dont understand why people are low in money, even with some professions at 200…

I have no house yet cuz im waiting for the big one, maybe it is?

This isn’t Minecraft. Not everyone wants to do boring crafting/gathering. It should be a matter of choice if you want to spend your gaming time doing such menial tasks. I rather do PvE expeditions and PvP (if I can find any).
