I always play female characters because I prefer how gear looks on them, and cute/fun/themed transmog sets always looks better on them. The problem with New World is all the women look like men, there’s not a single attractive or feminine face.

Some want to play as an idealized character, and for some that might even be stereotypical. Yet I don’t really see why this is a problem regardless … or how it hurts the gaming community as a whole.
A good chunk of those participating in this thread just want to be able to play a character whom they’re comfortable with, for whatever reason that may be. MMO’s are a social experience, and for many (perhaps not all), their character is important to them.

Ok, ban me, cause I said the female characters in game are perfect. Did not even think about it til you brought it up. I want issues to be fixed, not for them to waste allot a time to make this some barbie dream world. It is not a dating game, you will be fine how it is. Lol ban lol

They won’t. They’re more than happy with gender neutral. How lovely it was to go make a new character on a new account in GW2. The most beautiful leather gear, with flowing coat and looking solid and practical (no GW2 doesn’t “do” boob sliders), I love how my character looks. At creation you have a choice of about 20 different body types, that’s it…nothing extreme. You can even dye the starter gear on the character creation screen…and OMG the fun we are now having with many dynamic events everywhere…awesome…it’s like coming from the workhouse into paradise!
(Diverging a bit) Also the game is buzzing with players everywhere, no “great divide” of higher levels and lower levels…and people actually say “thank you” when you rez them or help with something. We did several level 80 (max level) rifts yesterday, and as level 30’s you are auto boosted to 80 as you enter, still in our c***p low level gear and lacking all skills, yet the 80’s treated us as equals.
