Why buff Defy Death? Greatsword still remains Meta, will be much stronger now

Where is the nerf? Everyone has been asking for the removal of a perk that makes you unkillable and grants you a second life

Defy Death Ultimate - Reduced invincibility to 0.5s and grants 500 HP + 50% of max health upon activation and reduced cooldown from 75s to 60s.

The strong aspect of DD is to be able to proc, instantly jug a potion and keep fighting/run until cooldown, you’ve made it much easier and reduced the cooldown lmao, now instead of dying like everyone else, you’ll be immortal, get 50% health back (like 6.5k + 500 health for most builds) drink a potion and you’ll get to 100%, every minute!!!

This is a massive buff, are you aware of that?

Reduced cooldown from 75s to 60s.

  • Fortifying Strikes - Changed activation condition from three consecutive light attacks to one heavy attack

Of course, because those are direct buffs.

GS/Hatchet will still be meta, now with the bruiser changes it will become the 80% of the rosters.

Proposed Changes: Reduced invincibility to 0, grants 500hp every 1 sec for 5 seconds, that would make Defy Death still SS tier for 1 point, right now it’s +SSS Tier, no other weapons has access to such broken perk.

Not convinced on the GS changes neither, it will still hit like a truck and grit rework won’t affect them now with the fortify rework I expect my build to hit people for MORE than 7k, which is why GS/Hatchet will still be meta, imo a BIG nerf of 40% to the damage of light/heavy attacks and a removal of half the buff that GS has access to would have been better, it’s TOO strong and has access to ALL buffs in the game.

GS integrated permanent grit for Heavy Attacks (what needed a nerf) will force every bruiser to drop the Great Axe for a Great Sword.
