Why can't we have more houses?

we should be able to have houses in all the zones…would make it so much better trophy wise.

perhaps I’m missing something or there’s a reason the dev’s don’t want us to have more than three if there are can someone explain it to me? I would actually really like to know

Trophy stacking.

Balance purposes.

The trophy system should be changed to a separate UI element. Where you decorate with them how you want but you can only have 3 active effects for your first 3 houses up to a total of 9 at a time. Introduce a UI where you activate on the fly which trophies you want active and inactive from your character bio.

Then we can solve the whole problem of having to change trophies at our homes. Something everyone has complained about since day one. Once you detach that from housing how it is currently implemented.

You can allow players to own houses in as many territories as they want.

This creates a money sink for the cost to buy the houses.

This creates more tax revenue for territorial ownership as you pay taxes on each house.

For storage, I think It makes perfectly good sense to just allow the players to have chests in each territory and increase their storage capacity. The folks who say they don’t need it, fine if you don’t need it don’t use it. The other folks will take advantage of it again - money sink and more tax revenue.

The database consequences should be nominal and shouldn’t have a performance impact.

If you stack enoigh, you’ll get guaranteed legendary on every craft

maybe they can limit the type of trophy no matter what tier…so you can have like 2 basic angry earth trophy’s and 1 major and thats it…just as an example

Why do I even need HOUSES?

I always thought it was a poor design, and never reworked to catch up.

Storage was and still is somewhat an issue.
Trophies management falls short same as inventory management.
Town buffs need a rework with recent BS changes, not all cities can afford buffs, so we go back again on getting properties on the 3 main towns, while income redistribution and all that is nonexistent. Who wants a house on the fking swamp or FirstLight when they have barely anything to offer?
Guilds that got those towns are losing money mostly, and putting a buff other than the HP boost seems almost impossible.

I can’t think of a redesign as we did before plenty of times as AGS produces a patch out of thin air and screws the entire system (that was already rigged for WW, EF and BW)
