🧌 Why do All Giant Monsters have the same Attack Animation?

Haha that made me laugh

pretty sure they made more with the skins this months, then by charging 10 dollar for the “dlc”

They would charge if they thought they people would swallow the pill. Its why they make the game to make money. Easy mill tbo.

It’s a “living world” update to keep people happy, which is fine by me.

The money they make from skins is a whole different bag of fish, which in the end is not value for money for the consumer/gamer.

good point :frowning:

This makes me hate this game so much
I hate that my female character looks like an old man

you are right :frowning:

This game really does have some of the most gross reuse of animations and monsters.

From the literal first animations you see in the very first dungeon is the same throughout the entire game.

This is the sad truth of this game.

Maybe is about time to create new, game weight and memory needed ? For younger players it can be confused, for me boss is boss xd

i dont understand too why they are just re-skinning monster even in new expansion

just like the rest of the game, the Devs are out of ideas

I have some news for you. AGS put New World into maintenance mode in FEB2022. Ever since that month New World has been getting very little in fresh content. Actually come to think of it, I know of quite a few Free to Play MMOs that get more content in 3 months, than New World has gotten all 2022 so far.

On the other hand, people that still play New World should be thankful, that AGS didn’t pull an Epic Games, and close the servers for New World when they saw Lost Ark completely outshined New World on all metrics.

From my experience, it looks like New World is only living on borrowed time. And if this upcoming update don’t fix the lack of interest. Then New World could very well end up completing the Wild Star track. I just hope future Devs understand why MMOs like New World and Wild Star will at best case be niche in this day and age. And not try this stunt again.

We need more GW2s and not more ArcheAges.

I disagree. Archeage died because it got turned into a P2W game model by the devs then was sold to Gamigo that sucked whatever was left. It didn’t die because it was a niche game, it died because others were greedy

ESO has a ton of reskinned npcs. I remember people complaining about it on those forums.

Oof

Oh no, they reused sand in Brimstone and didn’t make up an entire new type of ground. /s

ahaha you are right

New world has a very unique style, many may think of copy paste npc, and even it is, it kind of suits the new world’s design.

You go to a land that corrupted every life over there.

Think of humans becoming zombies. They are all the same as the base, but they look different.
Thats basically the story of new world.

It would be hard and cringe for them to add a dragon. Like…where it came from? What was it before it was corupted? A lizard?

But…yeah…they could use more ability diversity even if they have the same copy paste base npcs

yeah they must use more ability diversity.
