Are players who post trades for way less than the previous price, just driving down the market or are they just in a IDGAF state of mind.
Always list things 0.01 gold lower than the current lowest so yours will sell first. Stonks!
They just haven’t figured it out yet. I use to do the same thing. In few cases I will buy the bottom out and reset the floor. If you watch the market daily you will start to see trends and start to understand the true value of items. It’s funny because something’s value is just a perception. So its fun to watch how the market moves knowing that a certain percentage of the pop doesn’t really know what they are doing. I’m a gatherer/seller (no crafting) so I do what I can to push prices up. I’ve noticed some guy who keeps listing 2 lodestone and every kind of mote at half price to trick people into listing their at that price, so he can swoop in and buy them all. I go in and buy all those up and clean out the bs. So yeah, people who undercut are dumb. They would make more money if they just matched.

that is what a Real Money Transfer (RMT) looks like.

If you buy an item prices so low, keep refreshing and you will see the item pop back up at the same price/qty. Bot activity. This is why you get a timer warning when working the TP for too long.
One theory is that they are hoping to catch someone not paying attention and selling at a lower price.
I have reported this situation two times and AGS did nothing about it.
AGS just don’t care and let bots “work” on the trader and manage prices as pleased.
