Why Do Taverns Exist?

Why do Taverns Exist in Aeternum?

  • I can’t buy ale  or wine :wine_glass: in them . I’m always invited to have a drink by the tavern master though.

  • No rumors or whispers about what’s going on in town or nearby. The tavern master should have heard things.

  • I can’t even sit in any of the chairs :chair: in the place. They are totally non interactive. I can’t click on any furniture to sit on it unless I jump on it and /sit awkwardly.

  • There are no drinking :beers: patrons (save 1 guy upstairs with a stein in Windsward) .

  • I can’t play cards :spades: or dice :game_die: against NPCs.

  • There’s no bawdy bards or mangy minstrels singing of my deeds (or anyone’s). Neither lute , nor fiddler, neither accordion, nor hurdy gurdy. No lads and lass dancing a jig.

:unamused: They’re just gigantic empty rooms with no actual function. YOU could fit a lotta people in there. But there’s no point in going. WHY do Taverns exist in Aeternum ?
