Bruhhhhhhh
this nerf completely killed any fun the bow had, now its just a slow clunky mess, feels like everything is delay artificially thus making the combat system feel like garbage.
the jump removal would of been fine if they have brought back no delay autos to ability shots and fix up the animation to make it less stiff and clunky but nah they just keep on removing without any balance and this is where we are now.
They didn’t nerf the bow, they fixed the exploit. They have not decreased the damage, it can still 2-3 shot a person in heavy armor. It can still kill whole groups of people with poison and rain of arrows. It is still the strongest weapon in the game.
It’s still easily side stepped, poison shot can be out healed by a light meal. If you are wearing heavy and getting 2-3 shotted by a bow might I recommend not standing still and eating 3 fully charged heavy attacks to the face that take 3.5 seconds each to charge up Bow, if that doesn’t work try having more than 5 con. Even with over 300 dex it is one of the lowest DPS single target dps weapons in the game and requires you to actually be able to aim.
2-3 SHOT A PERSON IN HEAVY ARMOR? youre legitimately delusional
Honest count would be 9-10 shots in normal circumstances - if they dont heal
(at 400 dex with max damage perks)
Bow users really need to stop calling this a nerf
It’s still the strongest single target damage in the game other than the IG exploit. A good bow player, with a good build and good gear can 2-3 shot a person in heavy armor even if he has 200 con and that heavy player will never be able to do anything about it, they will never catch you, they will ignore you because they can’t even get to you.
The fact that is has the longest range in the game and the highest damage in the game is crazy but like you said it takes a lot of skill to use properly. Might I suggest you keep practicing with it and figure out the right build, get some new armor with atleast 2 perfect perks on it and you will be fine
Have you got almost BIS gear? have you got the right build for the bow? You can look at youtube to help you perhaps. I don’t know what to suggest if you are having so much trouble with it. I could probably send you some screen shots of the right build and weapon perks to use for it, other than that it’s just practice - make sure you get those headshots!
Thank you AGS for this bug fix, archers were so annoying!
you are full of
You are literally not worth talking to. Clearly you do not understand any game mechanics related to the bow and/or have GS 0 heavy armor equipped if you are taking that much damage. Maybe submit a ticket, sounds like your games broken
@briskelmechz with 400dex 50con i have never in my life 3shot person in heavy armor. You must be high bro
Maybe it would be possible if the target had only 5 constitution? but no one in their right would PVP with 5 con
They did the same thing with the musket. Added a clunky delay after each shot. All i can say is, they’d rather have a clunky and non fluid game i guess. Or its just an easier way to balance things, just add delays… rather then fixing the actual problem
Welcome to the nerf life…wish they did something to make weapons better vs less fun.
you can still jump cancel with bow lmfao they barely changed anything. It just doesn’t shoot like a machine gun now you’ll be ok
Stop lying, i dare you to show a clip of this happening, thats not the bows fault thats you being TRASH
That video doesn’t prove much if anything, From what I saw (before i got bored) the few jumping shots he did were all at close range.
Not too mention there could of been countless takes before he actually made the shot.
@deadmarsh the point of the video was to illustrate that even though he fired an arrow, he in fact still had fully functional legs. Even in the real world bound by physics without the aid of magic he astonishingly was not stricken with paralysis despite the fact an not one, but many arrows had left the bow he was touching, almost as though the ability to walk and not having an arrow touching the bow he was holding were entirely unrelated events sharing little to no correlation to one another.
