Why dont the npcs care?

You are tasked with lighting on fire or blowing up the supplies. These items are a strategic blow to the enemy forces and will undoubtably stir up the hornets nest so be on your guard.
You blow up the crates and a big explosion happens and there is a fire and a plume of smoke that the whole camp can see and… No one cares.
Can we have an agro trigger to collect the surrounding enemies to the area of an explosion within a certain radius. Its little touches like that that make a good game a great game.

Yeah… sometimes is just too easy.

oh yea too easy
Try playing Brimstone in 4months from now. Or try to do the late quests at 4:30 in the morning. It’s annoying asf, you already have to pull like 20 mobs to even get anywhere and some respawn before you even get to your goal

To be fair a good quest designer would set up a goal to interact with and put a horde of enemies for the player to either navagate around as a stealthy character or plow through as a combative character where the enemies arent the requirment but are a means to acquire additional loot on top of the quest. But for some reason someone has it in their heads that every quest should require killing 15 skeletons. At this point an escourt mission would be a god send. But for the moment a crudely simulated audio trigger system would be at least a vast improvement on top of the what we have now.

Imagine the disappointment when we are told we get to blow up some tents using the forts own cannon, you blow up two tents with a huge fire blast and a loud BOOM!!! And not one varangian knight gives two rips. You can even see an npc just 2 feet outside of the blast radius practicing his swordsmanship and not one “censor” to give.

i pull all mobs to level up greatsword they are kinda easy… of course if we are talking about super strong mobs the stuff changes but the normal ones… easy

I think you might have missed the point though. To have the npc’s to react to their surroundings in a more natural way is the mark of a great pve experience. We aren’t here to simply kill enemies and collect loot. We are here for an adventure. Not here to hit a manikins.
