They could have kept ALL the mobs the same. The only one that needed adjustment was the annoying as hell Angry Earth Bowmen, that would aggro you from across the damn map.

as long as you know mechanics nothing is hard

if you can ignore mechanics and just spam random skills and attacks
it will be boring as hell…

Sounds like small playerbase wants PvE to be EZMode as OPR (OutPost Rush).

the only thing that needed a nerf was 3 type of mobs
1: S/Enforcers / spear NPCS 63+ = damage reduction reduce
2: Diablo/Brutes spamming meatballs or Pound skill which was aoe stunning every player
3: Devouts Spamming Mine skills Damage was way to high with heavy and corrupt ward

Why nerf? Because it reduces lag. lol Less variables less server resources that are being eaten.

Some i could see, the corruption tentacles, swarmers, entitles for lower levels-a brand new player they tend to need some assistance on lvl 25-been there, done that too many times for others.
The rest…i’ll simply play and see.
I don’t think i will be happy about the loss of combat challenge.
I don’t want wave my weapon at them and they all fall over instantly.

while they should be your hobby… that you enjoy spending time on…
Who cares? If this does appeal to new players than I’m totally fine with it. It can still be challenging just accept now boars, wolves and some trash monsters are easier now be gentle with your left clicks and all will be good
I preffer spending more time fighting bosses than mobs, it’s way more fun for me. Each with his own
If this happens in NW, that’ll be my dealbreaker. This is the #1 reason I stopped playing ESO. Absolutely no solo challenge overland period.
I enjoyed the old-school MMO feeling in NW of getting my ass kicked by mobs and then figuring out how to beat them by adjusting my gear, skills, rotation, etc. That bow-wielding Angry Earth someone mentioned in this thread used to kick my ass until I figured out how to turn the tables!

Are Thoses nerfs also affecting M10 mobs ? Felt like trash mob / stagger big pull was fun to do and actually challenging , guess we will go EZ mode now. Some of Thoses sailors are def in BnB and ancient skeleton are in LazRus . I didn’t see Genesis mobs though
