I wish normal people could get a contract with endless holiday days too. They already took 30+ days just for Thanksgiving and the turn of the year. Thats more than anyone else gets for the full year.

Since the 1st was a saturday, many, many places gave the 3rd off. It happens that way with holidays often. I guess while you were off work, you sat around thinking about how to fix all your problems at work, then fixed them all on monday. Most people don’t function that way, but good for you.

Well because Christmas was almost 2 weeks ago and then the new year. Not everyone can take the same time off. Usually around this time companies work at a reduced capacity.
I assume waiting for the bots to buy as many copies of the game at -25% as possible letting the gold sellers stock up before 1 of 2 things happen. They address the problem or most actual players quit.

The last patch was 13 days ago and I’ll bet they’ve been back to work since yesterday, so that’s not even 2 weeks. Like most people they’ll have just had the week in the middle off (3 days) and a couple days before, so no more than 5 days. Unless you think they have to take off weekends and Christmas day itself lol. And thanksgiving was… A day?

Yes it’s the holidays. But that ended 4/5 days ago? That said, it shouldn’t take too long or have too much logistical issues to have a meeting with the producers, community managers and devs about what they’re going to communicate to players, especially when there was a video and forum post saying how they will communicate to us better.
By all means, let them stone face lie, but the game is down 12,000 players at this exact time, from last week and it’s going to keep haemorrhaging. Sooner or later your copium runs out.

Thanksgiving holiday was at least the full thanksgiving week announced in the dev blog 3 on the 21st, even though I suspect more in the week after because except an emergency shutdown without communication and a quick rollback nothing was done in those two weeks. And no the technical skeleton crew for emergencies who did that doesn’t count.
Christmas holiday started on the 22nd and finished hopefully somewhere this week since there were a few post from Luxendra, even if those never were an indicator for dev activity. And yes normal people have to use their vacation if they don’t want to work on the 24th because it is an official work day.
So to comply with your nitpicking we exclude sundays and therefore count at least 5 days at thanksgiving and around 14 at the turn of the year. That includes this week because there will be nothing before next week since they will definitly not be back at full strength this week even though some may be back already. The first patch will be on the 11th when the event ends.
So in the end we are talking about approximately 20 vacation days in 2 months. In my country people doing a 6 day work week are entitled from the law for 24 vacation days for a whole year. An they still have eastern, independence day, memorial day, presidents day and more were they will take additional holidays. Even if it is not 30, it is still near the whole yearly vacation for many people. You can’t fault people thinking badly about this especially when taking their success rate in the past months into account, which normally would point to extra time instead of long holidays.
i mean this game has less views than chess on twitch and its playerbase drop is harder than bless unleashed online in comparison.
ressurecting this game will be a hard thing to do.
they have a hard time fixing stuff without breaking other stuff so idk…

in the next months it either hsuts down completly and ppl get a refund or it will just be kept in the state it is for longer period of times meaning that patches will be less frequent
