Interesting thing. Anywhere where existing pvp in any form - after small period of time will spawn someone who will starting to drag coverlet on only one direction, and always better know how it should work. And olvays those “someone” wery agressive.
Once I went to cafe and there was a person who started teach how their cook must cooking food. Because on his homeland “this” food is making correctly but here - not. That sad people just don’t undestand that they do things wrong and his holy duty to said it.
Damn, I my ass was onfire while I did main story quest when npc just sent me to another zone for one item and “now go back to me”. What I did - sended feedback, with exmaples that i think are “nice designet”. If there will be more moments that will frustrate me (without any changes).Well, just will left game.
I’ll give an example on WoW. Game is ded or not - not the point. In BfA they did good solution about pvp and pve servers. They add “flag” system. It simply give opportunity to go fight each other when players want. Same is happening in NW. And it’s a great solution.
Game is like it is now, core mechanics done, just accept it. Or - don’t buy. There is no agression in my words, just simple respect for other people’s work.
If you know what things could be improved - write feedback with suggestion and explanations, without emotions.
It should happen because many players want it and it’s in keeping with the spirit of the game, would resurrect the fun that apparently existed in early tests of the game.
Development wise it’s nothing. Add some servers where you can’t unflag, that’s it. Nothing else needs to change.
Alpha-beta versions are gone, that’s all. Game is like it is because previous versions didn’t work.
“Many”
This is a loud statement, requiring more precise numbers.
Add some servers where you can’t unflag
Sad but it doesn’t work like this. Changes like this (adding server with some specific rules)can looks like it’s something minor but can broke all game ecosystem in a long perspective.
We do not need to tell you why, it’s plainly written in the 45 other posts about this topic. We want pvp servers. I don’t know how a balance would work on the servers as they are now. I do not want to give up the pve aspect the game either. We enjoy both. As of now the pvp does not look hopeful. I followed New World for some time and was expecting a pvp game where crafting was going to be the backbone of the commerce. Neither have come into being. I can make the one work with some different tactics until it settles a little more the pvp however we have no control over because it barely exists outside of warring.
Other stuff I’m not going to even bother replying to because I feel like you are trying to suck me down to your level and beat me with experience. I don’t like living under a bridge…
well in a full pvp server, its not just about being ganked.
you need to play nice with other people so you have people to watch your back/play in a group. Have you offer something to a company other than join to zerg, etc.
There is a lot of things a full loot / full pvp server brings to the table if it is applied to New World.
Yeah something people forget about full loot games is the deep politicking that goes on. Really adds to the atmosphere when you have actual meaningful relationships to manage between different groups of players.
There is Archeage, Black desert online, Albion online, even old Lineage 2 where existing things that you want. Why not playing that games?
Again, I’m not trying to trolling or doing something similar. I’m trying to uderstand fundamental reasons why you pushing to asking for global changes (even if you thinking that pvp server it’s small thing) in game that have own way.
And again, game released less then month ago. There need at least 6 monthes or year (optimal). I’m sure there will give more content in pvp and pve. And both of that aspects will be polished.
Some players still don’t understand NW gameplay mechanics. Some don’t want enable pvp because still lvling and don’t want to be oneshoted.
It’s never be a simple, there are always consequences, especially in the long run. Writed about it and other things earlier. But seems you just ignoring it.
Don’t see reasons to continue this not constructive discussion. It’s more looks like a “I want and that’s it”.
